Melo would be an idiot to stay in NY. They dont even have a first round pick this year. He'll never win anything unless Lebron goes there.

I think deep down he would like to actually win something meaningful in the NBA. Hes alway been a loser with a scoring mentality.

But Melo aside, the Knicks are probably in a worse situation then us. We at least have Kobe coming back and a chance to retool our roster with some free agents and an awesome lottery pick. The Knicks well bad contracts, no draft pick, and horrible personnel. Even with Phil there, I dont think it makes a difference. They will be a terrible team for at least another 2 years. Melo will be 30 in May.

The Knicks aren't actually in that bad of shape.. Amare, Chandler, & Bargs are all expiring contracts next year.. All they have on the books for 15-16 is Melo if he comes back, & 1 year player options for JR Smith & Fatty Felton.

Another (VERY ) unlikely scenario is the Heat big 3 opts out , Melo does the same , all take significant less money and Melo joins them in Miami ... if the Heat doesn't win it all this season .

It looks like a HUGE stretch but I wouldn't be that surprised if it happened .

I think Lebron alone to NY with Melo is more likely if the Heat lose this year & next.. Don't underestimate how much pull Phil & the Knicks market have.. If Lebron won a ring as a Knick he would be treated like a god there. Melo is a better player than Wade or Bosh at this point so joining up with him would make sense for Bron.

^^^^^ I doubt Lebron wants to deal with the pressure and spotlight in NY

Something tells me that Miami might make a play for Love with Bosh. Minn gets something in return for Love and Love gets to a team that will re-sign him long term that's relevant.

Wade took less money once.... he may do it again to help out.

Melo with LeBron and Wade is a disaster. Melo isn't the kind of player mentally to do things other than score for any length of time.

Trading Bosh for Love would be a huge mistake ... Love can't defend the PNR like Bosh does ... given the touches , Bosh can score 20+ in his sleep whereas Love isn't able to replicate what Bosh does on the defensive end off the floor .

Bosh is more important to the Heat success than Wade but I'm pretty sure if one has to go , it won't be Wade ...

We'll see how it turns out

Ya, Kevin Love would be a disaster... Too slow, bad defender, injury-prone, and need his touches (unlike Bosh)...

No to Carmello, and I don't care what Kobe has to say. I want Wiggins, Embiid or Exum in the draft, followed by Kevin Love in 2015, and when Kobe retires in 2016, I want Kevin Durant

A three headed monster of Exum or Embiid or Wiggins/ Love/ Durant, would be game over for the rest of the league
