Chris Kaman Discussion: Submarino Amarillo to Portlandia

Re: Chris Kaman Discussion: It's Captain Caaavemaaaaan

Yea, he ain't coming back. We might be able to drag Mehmet Okur out of retirement to play center.

MDA needs to go. A rotation of Pau/Kaman/Hill/Kelly should be the least of our problems, instead it's a big reason why we get routinely mauled in the paint and on the boards.

No more small ball.

The obvious takeaway from Chirs Kaman's presser - not said but said - he'd love to be back but not for Mike D'Antoni

Wow I'm surprised he said he'd be back at all. Kind of speaks to the type of organization that we have here.

Man, if MDA left, and we somehow kept Kaman and Hill, and get LOVE.

Kaman/Sacre
Love/Hill/Kelly

I'd live with that.

Yeah, if Pau is let go, Kaman must be resigned... I don't think there is anyone better out there. Of course MDA must be gone.

Chris Kaman has reached agreement on a two-year, $10M deal with Portland, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Nice deal for Kaman, glad he got paid and will be in a winning situation. He was a pro all season for us when IMO our FO basically lied about his role here and our coach sat him for no reason.

Chris Kaman's deal w/ Portland is $4.8 million in the first year and $5 million in the second year with only $1 million guaranteed, I'm told

Good for him, he might be of service to them.

I didn't really want him to be of service to us anymore anyways. :man1:

Glad he got paid. Would liked to him stay but not at that price.

Good for him, especially after having to endure MDA;s madness last season. Another nice big man pickup for Portland. Last year with Lopez, this year with Kaman.

I'm glad for him. On a very tough season for the team, he had it even worse, being benched for a guy like Sacre (I mean, really MDA?).

He would've been a nice cheap option if available.
