Sure why not, hopefully it's for the vet minimum so we can use our mini-MLE on a wing like Young.

Yeesh, next season is gonna be ugly, literally. We could do worse with what we have to offer though.

I thought it was funny.
In the real world, the day Steph awoke at 9 a.m. to begin his Ustream show, Kobe Bryant probably awoke at the same time, even if it was 6 a.m. in California, and lifted weights.

Actually, Kaman is solid center, he have good post moves and he can hit that mid range when needed, i like it, and his defence is also not that bad.
He would be our starting center.

Solid center who plays 32 games a year. No thank you. Please, no more injury riddled fodder.

What's up with the Lakers being interested in OLD AND INJURED-PRONE players?

I rather see Mbenga in the Phoenix offense..maybe he can turn into Amar'e

We have interest in EVERYONE at this point, as long was they are willing to accept a 1 year deal, and in most cases the vet minimum. We only have the mini MLE for about 3 million besides that.

I never liked Kaman, but screw it. We could use him. I just hope he can stay healthy. He has only played 82 games once in 10 seasons.

Slim pickings... anyone who's willing to take the minimum for a year is going to either be old and injury prone or young and unproven.

He's solid, yes. But you have to look at our playing style. I had him in fantasy the last couple of year. Dude is always injured every other week. Can't see him lasting more than a week before getting injured runnning up and down in this offense

if we sign him, he will be injured at some point during the season. you can take that as fact. but beggars can't be choosers...

Over the past 5 years, he has played an average of ~50 games per season. Taking his whole career into account (10 seasons), he plays about ~60 games per season. If we could get 50-60 games from him I think that'd be worth a 1-year deal.

well, he's better than sacre.

but he's also a terrible fit with dantoni's offense (since we're committed), and one of the worst defenders at his position in the league.

I think i'd pass.
