Devean actually could play solid defense and knock down the three for a few years.

Meanwhile, Morris literally does nothing well.

You can't compare Morris to another player that wasn't cut off this roster.

if he plays any significant minutes tonight then im convinced he really does have some dirt on the lakers

actually, morris might thrive, ok not thrive, but slowly blossom into a more respectable player under a D'antoni system. If its Phil, peace out Morris....

Morris has skills. He's really quick and agile. HIs problem is that he hasn't learned pace. He's always playing in 5th gear. He needs to know when to slow it down, speed it up, etc. He's just too young. But D'antoni systems always had young players blossom into decent pg's.

Dude... he's got an NBA caliber body, but no real NBA skills.

There is no way he would get any minutes under Phil. No chance.

A little bit I think

I have just never seen him make a string of legitimate NBA caliber plays. He had an inbetween the legs pass to Bynum once on a break. He had that lob to Dwight. And he had that fast break layup in Utah.

But that's it in like 2 years.

Phil would give him 900k to just sit at the end of the bench, not talk and to never ever speak to him on or off the court.

I really hate to say it... but the more I think of it Morris is a "Phil" kind of player... Morris has 1 or 2 attributes that Phil could maximize in the tri. If Phil's brought on, I just hope his intense hate for young players will keep Morris on the bench

People still hating on Morris - after what 11 mins court time?? Geez. Give the guy a break. Also, if Phil does come back, I'm sure he would like his size at PG and could maybe help him develop.

In saying that, Duhon surely has to get some court time soon, Blake is really frustrating me right now...
