ive hated on him basically since he was drafted but he's looking more & more like a serviceable 3rd string PG/SG, or 2nd string in a pinch

I think he is trying to get that 2nd string spot from Blake the way he has been playing lately. Looks better and better every game.

He is improving, he had nowhere to go but up, but he's definitely looking more comfortable than he ever has. He's not getting crazy with the ball, he's playing hard on defense every game, he's taking the open shot (tonight making them) and getting some nice easy layups.

For a couple of games now he's played very well for what we expect from our 3rd string PG. Duhon too. Maybe they don't suck that bad.

His defense is what's most impressed me. Offensively, he's just letting Kobe take control of that and just picking his spots, playing in control for the most part.

^Can't trade him until December 15th. And IIRC he also has a no trade clause in his contract since we signed him for 1 year.

He's played better and tonights game he played under control for the most part but I still think we won't go far counting on him.

This pace plays to his strengths... if he is comfortable at all at this level it is in the open court. The half court running of an offense and knowing what to do had him befuddled from the second he stepped on the court. In this free flowing offense he doesn't have to make those decisions as much.

very good game from morris. i am one of his hardest guys when it comes to critisize him but i have to say if he continues to play like that i am really happy that i have to regret and to say morris is maybe not so bad as i thought. so like i said if he continues to play like tonight i will say that. keep it up morris

What if he keeps improving and works as hard this summer like this past summer. I'm liking his effort and size and better handles out there. Good D being played against the bigger guards too. I hope he doesn't get buried when Nash and Blake are back. He should possiblty get Blakes minutes if he keeps improving. Higher ceiling this stage of their careers.
