improved or not, he's still too raw. we don't have many choices at the moment though.

I think that's more of Mike's or Kobe's role ... to say something ...

anyway I said that this kid can't run the offense as well as dribble ... he just looked good becuase he was playing with our starting five ... hell even I would look like him...

I've been looking over some advanced statistical measures, comparing Morris with last season and SPL. Some interesting data. I'm going to write up something. I'll have it posted later today. In short: nice job, D-Mo.

I totally change my mind on Darius. At least he is trying hard. Like this guy, he is growing very fast

Looking more decent each game.

Morris is really developing his game...love how he can get all the way to the rim and score, like I have said before. He's really improving. Still up and down, but improving

How ironic that Morris, the guy who had everyone scratching their head as to why he is on the team, now looks like one of the few on this team that fits MDA's scheme. I guess the lesson is that your success is as much about fit as any other factor (i.e. talent, effort, b-ball IQ, etc.)

Still wildly erratic when handling the ball, but I'm liking the rest of his game. He's not polished at all, but he's EFFORT!!

If Pringles was genuine in his comments about trying to acquire Blake for years, I'm going to be hoping Morris rides the pine. I'd rather have Blake playing backup PG than SG taking minutes from Meeks. I don't ever want to see a Morris-Blake backcourt.

He outplayed Collison tonight. Not bad for a 3rd string PG.

Hes playing well. Props. He needs to identify his strengths and weaknesses...strengths, hitting corner 3s and playing Defense. Weakness, dribbling and trying to make jump passes in pick and roll...it leads to turnovers. Stick to doing what you do best and limit the other stuff

agreed. i hated blake at backup SG. i was so dumb bc he never even shot the ball. Meeks has earned that spot imo. backup PG is a toss up at this point. all PG's have shown some good things but nothing to put them over the top. i like morris but hes hidden next to kobe...he prob wont be as good by himself in the 2nd unit. i think it'll really be blake or duhon, and judging by dantoni's love for blake (why does every coach like him so much?) then it'll prob be him.

ill wait to see blake play in this system though before i decide who should really be backup PG when nash returns.

As other posters have noted, he has surprised this year; the biggest surprise, actually. I like his size and length. He can guard the 1 and 2. He's also developed a nice jumpshot. He's still out of control at times. As long as he works on those parts of his game he struggles with & improves, he's going to be a very good bench piece...

He's been playing well and I'm glad. Only that thing that strikes me as strange..

He's super quick, he's athletic, he's got pretty good handles, but he can't seem to get past his defenders, even in pick and rolls... Even my fat self can make something happen on pick and rolls with guys quicker and bigger than me... Is there something he's doing wrong?
