He's super quick, he's athletic, he's got pretty good handles, but he can't seem to get past his defenders, even in pick and rolls... Even my fat self can make something happen on pick and rolls with guys quicker and bigger than me... Is there something he's doing wrong?

his handle is actually pretty terrible at some moments ... i would say it is pretty average, for PG pretty substandard .. but he gives great effort, which is why he is good D, it is all about effort

I like how he got some quick baskets last game. like when he comes out with a ton of energy and get sis a basket or 2 off fast breaks. we need that.

His tenacious defense is impressive. He never seems to get tired, but he's running around the court everywhere. Stark contrast to our older players that take chances leaving their man open for a shot (see Kobe) or rely on help defense even when their the help (see Pau). haa. I guess they've earned it.

^He's 21 years old. He shouldn't be tired.

I think he's a great ball handler. He just making bad decisions when he dribbles, lol. With time, He will only get better.

I won't play into the backlash on this kid yet. He didn't show up last night, but it was exacerbated by the fact that no one else besides Kobe did either.

He's a young player. He'll have his good games and bad. That's how it goes when you develop a guy. He's never been my favorite, but I like the boost he gives us on defense. I don't trust him to set up the offense, but that's what Duhon is for, IMO.

Jamison, Meeks and Hill didn't give us much either last night. Nor did Pau. Nor did MWP offensively.

He played way better D on Hill last night than Duhon did. That's for sure. Problem is that we needed offense and he couldn't provide any.

Morris would be a nice player for us if he could go out and sit on the bench as soon as we get the defensive rebound

He's trying but he is clearly not starter material, he is a 3rd string PG. As much as people think Blake sucks, not having him out there is hurting us.

This. Having Blake back in the starting lineup with this offense will really do wonders. He'll need time to get back into game shape, conditioning, shooting, etc. But after a few games i think he'll be just what this team needs. Morris can play with the bench and push the tempo all game and pester their backup PG.

He was completely lost on D and did his usual "dribble to the corner and pick up my dribble on O" ...

The hilarious thing ? Read the boxscore and he isn't credited with a single TO :man10: .. numbers do lie

Awful.

What little improvement we saw earlier in the season appears to have disappeared. Let's cut him and sign West. :man1:

Smush was a prolific finisher around the rim. He sucked at everything else.

Darius is wild going to the rim and throwing awfully difficult shots that only Kobe can make. I like the courage, I hate the stupidity.
