Well, Deron is precisely the guy that I would move Bynum for. If it were a scenario as thrown out there by Stephen A yesterday - Deron and Lopez for Bynum and salary, let's say Blake? Sign me up. That gets us a big serviceable center and a sensational, and bullet proof PG who has enough talent and smarts to run the offense himself and not listen to Brown, and enough clout to not always defer to Kobe. I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.
The problem of course is the way that wording was stated that Deron would prefer to stay in NJ. If so then there is not much leverage for a trade to happen. Why would they give him up, even for Bynum? I think they are trying to retain him in order to have a better shot at D12.
