if it wasnt for jim, we wouldnt have MDA right now

LOL at people blaming Jim all the time.

All the hate people have with Jimmy are all based on the media. No one really knows what is going on behind closed doors.

So you have inside access not from the media that confirms jimmy is not the problem? I doubt it.

Deductive reasoning can get you at least half way home to know what is going on. If Dr. Buss has one foot in the grave with ill health, then that leaves jimmy and Mitch. I don't know of Mitch ever being allowed to call the shots. But, I have heard since 2003 that jimmy gets that privlege. But you won't believe that either because I read that in the newspaper by several writers over several years.

So, jimmy gets the blame (and of course he hasn't come out of his shell to calm the fans). Or maybe you think Magic should be to blame? How about blaming Jeanie? Heck, pick someone. But, you won't pick jimmy, though he's calling the shots.

Anyone who thinks that Jimmy is making smart decisions behind the scenes is believing the media line. He brought in MB, then D'Antoni, and both without anyone else's input. He pushed for Nash, who is great, but as Mitch said, he'd feel better if they (read "Nash") were in their primes. I bet that Jimmy pushed for Nash too, and then pushed for D'Antoni in hopes of Showtime II. Except Jimmy never understood that the Suns weren't contenders, even with a prime Nash, because of defense. So here we are, 20 games into the season, with an injured star PG, a new center who is being misused, and a star player who's again playing too many minutes, especially at point, where he's going to run down by midseason. THe right coaches were available, but none of them were chosen.

I predict that once Nash comes back, we'll have a super offense, but we'll be turnstiles on defense. 2nd round exit, unless we find a way to beef up our lineup with a defensive line that makes defense a priority even when the coach won't.

At this point, second round exit is looking pretty good to me. I'm not sure we make the playoffs. There's work to do if they wanna make the playoffs. So far, the work ain't getting done. And putting our hopes on a soon to be 39 year old point guard to come back from yet another injury might be fool's gold.
