"Don't make excuses for us" -- Jim Cleamons

The other day, someone made the observation that maybe the Lakers aren't as hungry as they've been in the past, and maybe it's asking too much to win a fourth consecutive title.

For those of you fans thinking like that, all I have to say is: "Don't let us off the hook that easy."

Don't make excuses for falling behind 2-1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves, don't give us a free pass for the mediocre regular season we had and our less-than-stellar opening to the playoffs.

We don't deserve it.

My thoughts on this is... well... this...

Were down 1-2. If we loose, were in a nearly impossible situation 1-3. If we win, we'll be relaxed tied with T-Wolves 2-2.

Doesn't sound as bad as 1-2 huh. Well I just think Cleamons is right, the Lakers are still very much fine, and game 4 will determine alot. I've said it before, and im going to say it again...

Very exciting and tough game. The Lakers didn't play their best, but they played very smart today.

Whew!! What another stressful game to watch. All I have to say is we need to do better on taking advantage of Minnesota's shooting droughts. We should have been up by 15+ but we didn't execute and take advantage. Good job in defense this time tho. Finally they put in Samaki Walker...

Game 5 here we come!!!

There was a point in the 2nd quarter where L.A. did not score period for 7:00 straight, talk about a win. That's just terrible... See that kind of thing won't happen again... Hopefully :man10:
