Found more!!

When is the "Fire Rivers!!!" thread going up? Too soon?

Wow, already? :man10:

Classic trap game tonight.

Blake needs to get the boards to double digits or I'm seriously ready to give up on him

Just now you're giving up? :man10:

New season same problems, bums going off, getting killed by 3s and BG output regressing by the day

This is actually a good hurtful loss for us..

Glad to see you've made peace with it. :man11:

What really hurt was watching the CP3 & Blake commercials in the 4th Qtr.

Yeah, that was pretty painful for our eyes, too.

at least I was drinking, what a horrible game. I can't believe this.

The first time Lebron, Wade, and Bosh played in Miami, they started 0-1

Yeah, a LOT of teams start 0-1. :man10: And how many games have the Clippers with their core played together already? Try again. :man9:

I am really glad I don't live in LA after last night.

And so it begins, just received a staff e-mail with the Division Standings, kill me now.

As a team the Lakers are so into themselves they even have stars around their logo on the paint now,how ridiculous. I think Pompous is a nice way to put it.

I'm so happy we lost this game. It would've been worse to have played that bad then pull out the win somehow then pretend we aren't a work in progress.

Keep losing; that'll make us ALL happy. :jam2:

the Suns stole Bledsoe.

I blame Doc's lazy eye!! Bring back Chachi.

I think we should tank the season and get Wiggins
"Why are they blocking out all the good stuff? They let Sarah Jessica Parker's face on TV and she looks like a foot!!"

Don't those represent our championships? I guess they wouldn't know what that looks like or understand that concept. "Pompous" :man10:

i wonder if doc is putting up a blank championship banner at the clippers practice facility like he did for the celtics? and we all know how that worked out for them

last night was supposed to be the big coming out party for flop city. showing a national audience that they are in fact the best team in LA but as usual in clippers fashion they got outplayed by a kobe-less lakers squad while the bench dominated the ginger loser and c3po all game

I'm not really happy with the win tonight. Two god awful team competing. A god awful Hawk is saying "PLEASE BEAT ME" and the Lakers say "HOW?". God Dammit, just awful.

Im happy with EVERY win! Love Lakers fans who aren't happy when we win, when we lose, when play and when we dont play.

Doom is always good................
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I was hoping for that too. Can't even find the guy's post any more. Bummer. Houston fans should be catching on to his act once they lose to a few of the teams better than them and Clown's attitude starts going south because he's not featured in the offense.

Howard didn't get much attention during the Clipps game. their fans focused on Harden, we still have to wait... :man9:

OK, WTF….. :man10:

Not a lot about Howard. But then he didn't do a lot and was in foul trouble. They throw it in to him on the block less than the Lakers did, trying to make him happy.

"Hell yeah all the NBA fans gonna know the Rockets are legit for sure after this game "

"Harden c'mon, play some D or attack the rim. Stop just jacking threes"

"you can't even breathe on Chris Paul.."

"Flop flop flop flop Flop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flopFlop flop flop flop"

"stop with the hero ball Harden"

"harden is killing the team
ball movement stop everytime he touch the ball and all he do is iso
and his defense suck"

"this is basically the crappier version of last season's team against a much improved clippers squad.."

"What a sloppy flop"

"Poor Griffin, getting trucked by 140 lb Brooks!"

"What happened to Harden saying he wanted to guard the other teams best players...guess Reddick isnt "good" enough to guard"

"howard finally did something"

"Harden is the worst defender in the NBA"

"goddamn they need to work on their fastbreaks, layups, fts, and DEFENSE"

"they need to work on those passes and pick and roll defense"

"Does Rice still do that basketball fundamentals camp?...if so I know about 12-13 guys who need to sign up"

When three point shooting teams don't win: they suck, can't shoot, and can't defend. When the team shoots well: they're the best, they're unstoppable, everyone is an All-Star.

What I saw last night was what I thought I'd see from them all season: inconsistent shooting, created shots coming ONLY from Harden, but most importantly... Howard isolations. I won't even call them post opportunities because it would be insulting to all the big men before him who actually could post up. His touch around the rim is nonexistent. I don't know what he's doing when he practices with Hakeem, but it's not working. If their plan is to post him up more, they're going to lose a LOT of games this season.

Interesting...
I remember Harden at OKC doing a decent job at guarding Kobe. I guess now that he's the man he doesn't play defense any more.
Interesting.

I think he was allowed (like all of them) to be overly physical with Kobe but I didn't think he was that good of a defender. There is also something to the notion of being a bench guy and a main guy.

I think he did a good job defending Kobe for a 6th man. When they actually wanted to defend Kobe they'd send Thabo.

Harden looked good in stretches against him, but he wasn't their best defender. He's not a great defender by any means.

true. I also think he had a lot of help too. Most teams help out on Kobe and Harden was no different. He isn't that bad of a defender but not what people are making him to be.

^ Harden was a decent defender against Kobe, but realdeal's right, they went to Thabo for longer stretches, and sometimes to KD in crunch time because of his length.
Also key: the roaming type of help D Ibaka played against us. He knew he could recover on to Pau or whoever we were playing at the 4 so sometimes he'd just roam and try to get the block on Kobe - which he did, occationaly.
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.
