I'm surprised they are so down on Harden already. He is going to go through an adjustment period of being the main focus. It's not easy to do night in and night out. People are going to figure him out.

Harden's not good enough to carry them by himself. He's certainly no Kobe, and even Kobe at his superhuman best struggled to carry the Lakers by himself at times.

From what I've read, there are Lin fans, and there are Rockets fans. The lin fans don't like the Rockets fans, and the Rockets fans are racist towards the Lin fans. Who knew?

It's more a taunt to the other team more than anything, I'd say. I've always treated it as a taunt, and will continue to do so. It's constantly reminding the opposition that you're beating them and have held them to under 100. tacos are awesome they keep the fans in the stands till the game is over instead of out in the streets in the 3rd quarter of blowouts....don't think i have ever even used the free taco coupon...it's classic "we are rolling you and just staying for free tacos" lol not only that now the team plays for them...goes full court press to save tacos...it's brilliant...who cares what we look like to people who don't like us anyway? fans stoked we didn't win tacos makes me laugh my butt off...got beat so bad you almost got taco'd and the fact you didn't is the only card you have to play? "at least they didn't get tacos" bawahaha

Geez.. Didn't expect that kind of doom from the Rox. That team is undergoing some major growth. Can't expect 1 good offseason to put you in contention with the likes of us. They seem as bad as Knicks fans.

before they acquired harden they were having the WORST offseason of any team in the NBA

remember they were supposed to be the "big players" in the market and sign howard? instead they got asik and lin. harden will help out a ton but he is far from a proven nba star

Lowry and Dragic was a really nice pair of PG, and while it's understandable that they couldn't keep both of them, it's hard to believe they actually let both go and then overpay Lin.

Also, even though Harden was a good adquisition, they did pay a price for it. Jeremy Lamb is a nice prospect and Kevin Martin is a very useful player. Finally, they had to pay a lot to Harden.

Also, even though Scola was clearly overpayed, he's still one of the most skills players you'll find (really incredible footwork), so I don't think that amistying him was a very good idea.
