For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

We have enough Clippers doom built up to last 30 years, I really don't take delight in that pathetic franchise losing. Doesn't matter if they do anyway we aren't catching them, I'd rather see our games doom or even Houston and Portland doom.

The Clippers are enjoying a flash in the pan, but who cares about them? If the won a Championship I wouldn't care all that much in the end. If the Celtics did, I'd be furious.
