D12 Discussion: Dwightmare over! (1139)

Re: Dwight Howard Discussion: (p.863: Nash Frustrated w/Dwight)

On his first trip down the court, Dwight Howard felt Miami Heat players grabbing at his injured right arm.

"They got me early," he told Yahoo! Sports in the quiet of the Lakers locker room after Sunday's 107-97 loss. "They would yank it back."

Howard said the Bobcats did the same thing in Charlotte Friday night – even worse, in fact.

"It's like a jolt," he said. "Then it hurts the rest of the night."

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/kobe-bryant-must-provide-lakers-with-the-urgency-he-says-they-need-040620195.html

D12 needs to undestand that he shouldn't be talking about this to the press. The opposing teams will keep doing it if they know it's working.

D12 is like an overgrown child.... Of course they are going to attack it because you (Dwight) have made an issue of how much it hurts.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Oh gawd. Yeah there is that. Cringe of the year....maybe Dwight let's say really is undecided and not opposed to staying. Best pipe scenario right now imo. Sorry he just doesn't look like someone who doesn't want out. Then from the nosebleeds some knucklehead beered up and pissed starts up a Dwight Sucks chant if Dwight has many more of these obvious less than 100% efforts on the floor. The whole arena gets into it like they did to Kwame. :man4: :man4: It literally could be a knuckle head that seals the deal. He's out of this place. Not that far fetched when all this crap is out there now and fans and beat writers like Ding and Woj are closely "watching" what he's doing and looking like on the floor.

I know everyone is piling on Dwight right now and maybe picking apart everything he says, but come on, what a stupid thing to say. You don't freaking tell the rest of the league that all they have to do is yank on your arm at the start of the game and then you're in pain and pretty much done the rest of the game. You don't give opponents a blueprint for taking you out of the game, you don't TELL them what they are doing is working. Does this guy ever think? Good god, I mean, seriously?

Just stop talking to the press please.

Also Dwight needs to take the ball up hard to the hoop and "accidentally" catch the opposing player in the chin with his elbow. That will back them off.

Yeah. Give them the Shaq treatment. That's exactly what he should do. Maybe after a dunk "accidently" come down on someone's foehead.

^Dwight already has 5 flagrants. If he gives the "Shaq treatment" and gets caught, he'll be suspended for one game per the NBA flagrant policy. We can't afford that right now.

dwight is a fraud and has been exposed this season

no fundamentals whatsoever, it's clear he was successful in orlando because of his athleticism and with the back and shoulder injury, it's made him have to rely on fundamentals which he doesn't have. he may never be 100% again which is why i wouldn't be mad if he was traded. at least they get something in return instead of just letting him walk or risking him being injured all the time

Well the guy is at rock bottom right now, nowhere to go but up from here.

I am a Dwight defender but cmon Dwight, don't tell the league what it takes to have you hurt for the whole game.

He's never had that mental toughness and focus; not sure how you think he'll just find it with the entitlement attitude he carries around?

Side note,

I think the poster dwighthowardsdad really is Dwight Howard's dad.

I thought that since he joined just before the season started. And I think it's flipping awesome. CL is turning into quite the high profile hangout. First Eric Pincus, now Dwight Senior! :jam2:

I totally read that as a play on words, not a reference to the poster, but Dwight's actual dad, no?
