When you look at the box score it says Howard is geeting 6-8 shots sometimes, but really in those games he is getting about 16 shots. The other 10 shots he is usually fouled on, and if he misses the shot then it doesn't count as a shot attempt. If he improves the ft shooting even a little we will see larger point totals from him.

this is what I've been saying all alone. Not everything is so evident in looking purely at "stats"

His postup skills aren't at Bynum or Pau's level. But he's way better than Jordan. For one, he can actually seal his man on a consistent basis. Something Jordan is still trying to figure out. On top of that, he's a way better P&R scorer than Bynum or Pau. Emphasis on P&R, not pick and pop, which Pau is pretty adept at.

yea and i dont understand why he doesn't roll to the basket some time instead of just pop. i know the defender gives him space which automatically makes him want to shoot, but if his j is off, goddamn go inside.

but yea i dont know about that DJ comparison. i mean yes their offensively retarded, but dwight is light years better than DJ , his offense too, i wouldnt say light years in that category, but still much better, but thats not saying much at all

HAHA... Drew has never lacked confidence.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Drew's right, that was definitely an adjustment that Dwight had to make offensively, playing with someone like Kobe.

And even if he is number 1 and Dwight's number two, at least number two is playing...

Had a pretty okay game tonight, I guess. He really needs to do more on offense... can't get beat by KWAMMMMMMAY BROWN.

It took him a while to adjust to Kwame's defense, but once he was able to he really was able to get to the basket. His attitude though doesn't look to great out there on the court, specifically towards Kobe. There were a couple times out there when I noticed Kobe fell near Dwight and he wouldn't even acknowledge Kobe let alone help him up. It's not like Kobe was hogging the ball either, so it's a bit puzzling.

he was happy overall he was definitely frustrated with the lack of calls. he had at least 3 and-1's that were so obvious and not called. would have had 20 points or more.

i think currently the ball movement has been good and still getting dwight involved. itll only improve with nash and gasol

He consumed 24 possessions tonight.

13 FGA
5 Assists
5 TO
1 Shooting Foul Drawn

He did reasonably well, made some good decisions.

With Nash and Gasol returning he should definitely see a lot more easier buckets. He also had a decent amount of touches shooting 7/13 but he had five turnovers. If he can limit his turnovers he could increase his shot attempts.

His first Q display of post moves was really forgettable (against Kwame). Did much better in the 2nd half.
League pass had the Sixers' feed and one of the commentators was talking about something that really bothers me: refs waiting for the shot to miss to call the foul, and if it goes in, even if there's really evident contact (like on one play where Hawes really hacked Howard) they don't call it.. Happens with Kobe too. Just hate that.

All I know is, Howard is non existent and still puts up 17 points and 11 rebs. I mean, I have no clue how he got those numbers. All I remember all game was Morris, MWP and Duhon with a little side of Kobe.

I am counting the days when he gets to 100%, because when he does, he is seriously going to be nasty with Nash at PG.

Hes good at passing out of the post, he turns the ball over time to time trying to make a post move but very rarely is it when hes double teamed and trying to pass. 5 assists tonight :jam2:

Doesnt matter whether what Bynum said was true or false, he lost all credibility when he claimed he was no1. Has this guy ever even played a full season? Anyways, Dwight is getting there.. He needs some pick pnr plays when Nash gets back. He will have plenty to clean up when Gasol gets back also.

Hit all his free throws today.

Granted he only got 3 of them, but it still looks nice on the box score that he went 100% from the line.

Dwight got off to a slow start but then did well to dominate the post with his hook shots, left handed especially, very nice.
