If I am D12, when signing the new contract with Lakers, I will make sure the coach must not MDA.

Terrible game. No energy, no effort and just dumb decisions. I didn't feel like his foul was flagrant 2 material, but still it was retarded. Looked desinterested from the start, pretty much took the game off.

Really stupid move by Dwight. Wasnt a flagrant 2 but just dumb. He gave half arse effort all game and then just pulled that crap.

I hate the Flagrant Rule.... WTS, Dwight should have been ejected for that. He purposefully made contact with his head and then pushed all while Faried was in the air....

He did a very similar thing to McGee a few possessions earlier that may have played into it as well....

He had little energy and wasn't really in the game mentally all night. As sad as it is to say.... I don't think his ejection changed the way we played in the game.... that's the kind of impact he was making tonight.

Edit: His comments after the game aren't going to help him either.... "I get penalized for fouling hard... nothing new". News big guy.... that wasn't a hard foul.

Something about playing center for LA these days makes our guys go nuts at times....

he wasnt there tonight. just wasnt interested. i think he needs some more touches on pnr then hes getting. that said he still should be engaged and winning should be enough motivation.

it also sucks when no one is playing D and dwight is expected to do everything and cant. especially when no one helps him or rotations are slow and lazy.

im gunna throw this game away in my head and hope the next one is more like what we saw during our win streak heart and energy wise

i actually don't think he warranted a flagrant. hard foul, nothing more. it's not like he was clotheslined.

flagrant fouls are bogus. get rid of the rule.

Stupid stupid fouls so far, this time it cost us a W. I don't get why he does such stupid fouls. he got away with it the first time on kuofos, should've stopped then.

dwight didn't lose the game for us. this was a team loss if i've ever seen one. he didn't give up 126 points by himself.

ya i think hes just frustrated. even in the wins he didnt seem that happy like his usual self. hes prob beating himself up alot bc hes not able to do what he usually could.

our team has to come together and play defense bc dwight cant do it all like they all think. tonight though he didnt even give any effort on that end i saw. maybe a play or 2 but overall he didnt even try to make an effort on d and barely jumped for a rebound. no one did though too.

i also believe he's frustrated, idk if he's upset at his teammates on the defensive end(because he pretty much does everything for us there), but it's understandable when kobe, meeks, duhon, and our other perimeter guards just cannot STAY IN FRONT of their man. i don't think it's that hard to do, the way our guards are playing defense is as if we've designed it to have their points beat us off the dribble at the 3 pt line and leave it to Howard every single damn time.

on top of that,

he sets numerous picks throughout the game for everyone, rolls on just about each one, but only gets the ball on those plays like 2x/game and it's ONLY from nash, that probably adds to his frustration as well.

Yeah but according to the rules, it is a flagrant and it was considered a 2 because of the contact to Faried's face with the elbow area. That is an automatic flagrant 2 per the rules.

I mean, sometimes I don't think our players warrant getting called for a travel but, hey if you take 3 steps, that's the rules.

I agree with the both of you 100%, fatigued & frustrated from not being able to do what he used to physically so far.

D12 is our whole defense. This was very similar to Bynum last year.

We need to do a much better job of rotating help when Dwight leaves his man to help. Someone needs to slide over quickly and put a body on his man until Dwight can recover). This is nothing new. Bynum was frustrated last year as well. Pau needs to step up here. Forget the offense, if Pau can just play like a 7 footer on defense, we would be killing teams out there. And we need to get better guard defenders. Duhon and Meeks are just getting blown by on a nightly basis.

Antoni might want to do some more practice and film session on defense.

Damn Dwight's basically calling Pringles out for his defensive philosophy. They need to have dinner and Dwight needs to convince Pringles they need to spend more than just 30 minutes talking about defense.
