Well...
I'm not quite sure Dwight knew just how tough Kobe could be. I'm pretty sure Team USA teammate Kobe and Lakers leader Kobe are a lot different.
A lesson Dwight HAS to learn to become better than the player he is today.
Kobe' was in the same exact position that Dwight was in with Shaq.
I'm sure Shaq pushed Kobe to be better, although Kobe didn't like it. It has to translate on the floor and through maturity. It's not going to happen overnight, we may not see it this season. But it's these type of situations that can really define a growing player. Playing through adversity, knowing when to give your team that type of leadership whether it be playing through injury or just showing it on the court, it's something Dwight has to learn.
Picking up technicals, talking back with media, creating drama. Kobe's been there before. We've all seen it. Look we're the Mamba is now. It's all on the court.
This is Dwight's chance to learn, if he folds under Kobe's tough love, it'll show what kind of player he really is.
