He's getting ready. Frankly, I don't think we'll be in the Finals, but I love his attitude. He looks like a different guy right now.

He may not have shot well on offense but his presence was definitely felt on both ends of the court. He made it extremely tough for the Pacers to score in the paint and single handily got their front court in foul trouble. I like that since the break this high level of effort has been there consistently on a game by game basis.

He's still a impact player despite foul trouble and bad free throw shooting. We need him playing like this going into the playoffs. Wish we didn't lose to Atlanta we'd be a whole shoe in instead of a tip of a shoe in.

The past two weeks I've started to reconsider my stance on him. I think there's a direct relationship between how much Kobe I see in him and how convinced I am that he can be our next cornerstone.

Come on stop looking for reasons to doubt, jump on the bandwagon. I've started to see positive actions on the court matching positive words, and chemistry out there and :man4:

him and Kobe touching each other. I'm a believer. He seems genuinely to be listening to Kobe and Kobe seems genuinely to be wanting to "groom" him to be that guy. Not to mention of course knows he needs Dwight to be that guy to have any chance of winning another ring.

He can be "a" cornerstone but we still need another competitive, won't accept losing, ring is the only thing, other talented star in here to play with him. Need to have two competitive, talented beasts.

12 rebounds tonight thats 13 straight games of grabbing at least 12 boards

Over the last month his numbers are 36mpg, 17.3 points, 14.3 rebs, 1.4 stls, 2.5 blks, 55% FG, 2.5 Turnovers

He's improved on turnovers, he's improved on catching the ball in traffic, he's improved on not getting stripped, hes improved on free throw shooting. Just needs to improve on staying out of foul trouble in road games

I faltered a while back when thinking about whether or not this guy was a good enough piece to build around. I always said he was and I always said "wait", but I was getting pretty nervous when new rumors were swirling that he wanted out...

It's so great to see him feeling better, playing better. He looks happy, we look happy and our chemistry has never been tighter.

Our future is in pretty good shape with him on the squad. Even though we need another piece or two or three, building with Dwight is going to be a good thing going forward if he can stay healthy.

I like this quote by Vogel. Dwight changes the game defensively when he's healthy. He's been so key to our success.

The only thing you can really complain about is the dumb fouls he commits. That's one thing that I wish he would clean up.

The foul on Pendergraph last night and the George Hill floater foul, there was no reason to foul there.

But that Stephenson flop wasn't his fault, it was the fans....err....refs that blew that call when they played to the acting of the player and emotions of the crowd.

Since that Boston game which IMO was the low point with Dwight this year, it's been a 180.

Dwight completely shut down the paint last night, every single big who tried to attack or put a shot up near the rim would hesitate in mid air & that changed the outcome of the game. Not to mention how high Dwight was getting for those boards fighting away a 7'2/3 dude in Hibbert.

Dwight playing great. He seems to be at peace with only scoring in the flow of the game but still bringing it on defense. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Dwight is not only playing motivated but he looks so much happier. I can really see this team growing closer together as the season goes on.

at this point even Sacre is better than Bynum. Sacre has more minutes, rebounds, points, blocks, assists, steals and shoots better FG%. There are only 2 stats in favor of Bynum. He has less fouls and less turnovers.

dwight's always been the key to our success. even though he's not our best offensive player, just having him on the floor on O and him setting picks and diving opens things up.

he's leaps and bounds our best defensive player and makes everyone look like they're a decent defender.

even though he's not the team's leader, this team only goes as far as he is willing to give us his effort and passion for the game.

without him, kobe has to pull miracles out of the hat every night to even get this team competitive.

Given that Bynum can't play, that's true. But Howard hasn't so far shown us anything Bynum didn't.
