has complained too much for years ... stars who complain all game long are the ones who get less amount of calls

If this is true Chris Paul and Tim Duncan don't deserve another call until 2030.....

Seriously, Howard doesn't get called both ways. He's always used his elbows quite a bit on the offensive end. He dislodges quite a bit as well. He gets hammered on the defensive end as well.

In last nights game he was fouled pretty hard on a layup in the 3rd quarter.... everyone in the Gameday thread was upset that the foul wasn't called. When they replayed it you could clearly see that he literally shoved Splitter out of the way with two hands in the small of his back right in front of the same ref that didn't call the foul on the shot.....

The way he's going on shooting free throws getting the calls might not actually be a good thing. If he misses a shot because he's fouled and it's not called we have a chance to rebound it and score... when he's at the line the best we can hope for it seems is a score half the time.

I'm really surprised that the refs are not giving us calls to milk the series a bit longer for more $$ .... But on the other hand, this series showed how useless MDA is .

Game 1 was rated the mostly watch opening playoffs game... I really wonder what were the ratings for Game 2 and 3 :bang: :bang:

My goodness, now that I remembered, I still feel pissed off about how Duncan was not given a technical for flailing his arms after a missed foul call. That was absolutely BS.

This is the new NBA, you cant just outbid players, history doesnt mean jack...guys are looking to team up with other all stars theres very few guys willing to take a chance on a rebuilding team without help besides them hoping it would pay off...Wade is someone who comes to mind he stuck through 08/09...Amare is another when he went to the Knicks in 2010, Melo came after

We need Dwight to 1st accept that it is his team now and its up to him to bring guys over...hopefully its not the other way around where he's looking to jump ship. But he needs to understand next year we're not gonna be a title contender and we're gonna make moves in a manner that will set us up as a championship contender from 2014 and after so he needs to be patient.....all of this would be un-Dwight like because hes been impatient, he has a short sighted view and he rarely accepts responsibility and wants the fun way out

If Mitch does things right, I think we can still be a title contender next year. Kobe will be coming back from his injury ready to prove he can still compete at a high level-which I think he still can. The only ifs are if Dwight does indeed stay and what kind of roster moves are made. I'm still hoping a coaching change can still take place but that's a discussion for another thread. But I wouldn't bet against a Kobe and Dwight tandem, especially a motivated Kobe provided they get the right players around them. And coach(es).

Can anyone read lips? Wonder what he yelled at Mitch? Is it demanding to fire someone? :man12:

The only thing left as the rotten cherry on top of this disaster of a season is for Dwight to leave. Nothing will surprise me anymore.

It might have been Mitch...but it looked like it might have been a fan.

And boy was that tech weak! The ref should've known better than that. Dwight needed to keep his cool, but the ref also needed to have a longer leash there.

Well, at least people can't say that refs give stars special treatment now. :man10: Can't remember the last time I saw a star get ejected for a talking to the ref techs in a playoff game, crazy.

Definitely looked like he was talking to Mitch too, have no idea what he's saying though.

Yep he's talking to Mitch...maybe to send in tape to the league to show how many calls the ref missed/got wrong???

Either way, that tech was unwarranted IMHO.

refs this series have been ridiculous towards Dwight. this ejection was just a bad cal especially for a playoffs game. so frustrating for Dwight I'm sure for how many no calls there's been while he's getting ear hugged and hammered.

Dwight was def yelling at Mitch. but almost looked like in a pleading way not necessarily pissed but what do I know. I'm sure well hear about it later. did seem like he was directing it towards him after Mitch tried snacking Dwight on the butt on his way out

Watching the replay again, it's clear Dwight was upset no foul was called when Baynes was physical with Dwight's surgically repaired back.

actually watching that again it looks like he's yelling at the guy in the black hat. he prob said something and Dwight responded. his eyes were looking all the way to the left were the black hat guy was instead of the right were Mitch was

il give Dwight the benefit of the doubt bc Mitch has been good to him

Time to rehab and get the strength back in the offseason. Maybe work on those FTs, hmm? At least he'll be able to use that left hook properly when his shoulder recovers.

If he's coming back...

1.) New coach that fits hits style

2.) Roster that fits his style

3.) Get him some damn help defensively

That's the only way we are going to maximize Dwight.
