D12 had some help with Blake and Jamison spreading the floor from beyond the arc. We just need one extra guy to shoot 3's. Too bad he hasn't practiced yet.

Athletic wing & athletic PG next to Dwight + good shooters = 3peat. Paul George or Batum + Wall or Kyrie.

Just to make sure: we're talking 'bout practice here. Not a game.

Great game by D12. Really carried us on offense when Pau struggled. Seem like he was playing with a real purpose. Unfortunately we won't get far against OKC with Dwight as our 1st option. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

dont want to be a debbie downer but I dont think he's gona be able to bully Porkins, Bos hardly ever had to double Howard and this season thus far I dont think he's had very good gms against OKC either.

Also if we make it to first round the better he is, let's say he is having good effect and success against Porkins and their front line, the harder and harder all their big guys are going to be coming after his right arm to wrench the shoulder. Has been bad enough already but in the playoffs yikes.

even with Kobe in the and in the WCF we would have big probelms with OKC.

Looks like they are the first round matchup and that will be tough, but maybe this new found emotional surge and the ball movement will help us win a couple games.

I'd pick Paul George out of the two just because Gordon has some really serious injury concerns.

My first pick, honestly, would be Harden. I think the two would really complement each other. But then again I'm biased with a dominant Center and a SG.

I'd also love Wall, Irving, and obviously LeBron. Also Lillard.

Well, yeah. There are all great choices. Harden would be awesome. He's an old school player and (relatively) soon to be the best SG in the NBA. However, I would think about starting with the dynamic, scoring PG. That would work well. Get a defensive 2 instead of a scoring 2, SF and PF that are hustlers who can stretch the floor -- and you have an instant contender.

should try to get Lowlry, not elite but if he could play at that lvl he once did in Hou before going down with injuries he could be as dynamic as most PG's in this league with Antoni offense....still affordable and relatively young, IMO most realistic options if Pau were to be traded and Tor was part of the deal.

Coming off back surgery, " a down year" has resulted in being only Center in top 5 in Rebs, Blocks and FG%. If you included Duncan he'd be the 5th best scoring C in the League. SICK. He may not be an Alpha like Kobe but he's definitely one of the biggest pieces towards a Championship puzzle you can build a team around for the future

No I agree. I think it's easier to find athletic, defensive 2s and 3s than it is to find an athletic, defensive 1. And we need a defender that can bother 1s and 2s.

I'd say go after the dynamic PG if you can. There's a few out there that can fit the bill. Then go after the Sefoloshas and those types. Then go after a creator off the bench who can score for himself. I don't have any name that fits there, but there's bound to be someone. To throw some names out there of guys available in the next 2 years...

PG- Monta Ellis
SG- Gerald Henderson
SF- Evan Turner
PF- Paul Milsap
C- Dwight Howard

With guys like Morrow, Clark, Hill, and a couple of veterans on the bench? That's a team that can contend if they get/stay healthy. And that's not even a team that I think is our ceiling.

It's definitely impressive. Only really big thing to criticize IMO has been his FT shooting, which has been atrocious all season.
He's not the most consistent player either, but still, great numbers, and definitely a huge factor.

Dwight put out the effort all night. He made some tough shots and missed a few easy ones. Free throw shooting ended up at average and he made the two pressure ones down the stretch.

The only criticism would be not staying on the floor when Duncan had the ball..... he had Dwight jumping out of the building a few times.

I don't like that team either real, I don't think Ellis, Turner, Hendrson are the type of guys that have what it takes to win it all. In this game only big name stars win it all, and I don't see that in any of those guys. I know Howard is there and I like Milsap a lot, but I don't trust guys like Ellis to not do stupid things at the end of huge games because IMO he's a chucker, Turner to step up in big games, or Henderson to even know what playing in a big game is like. Has Ellis even played in a playoff game in his career? I wouldn't mind having Turner and Henderson if we had a more stabilizing, established guy at the 1 though, just can't see it with Ellis.

agreed, i think the only decent piece mentioned there is paul millsap. don't get me wrong, each of the rest of those guys has talent and could make excellent roleplayers...but they should not be the starting core.

gimme some kyrie irving at the 1 instead and maybe i'll change my mind :man13:

No offense guys, but that's the kind of team we're MORE likely to be looking at than a team featuring Kyrie Irving or John Wall.

In my opinion, everyone starts somewhere and it's useless for us to sit around and think that in order to be successful we need high profile names. On that team, we've got at least one high profile name. I'm not saying that team is a Champion. I'm saying that's the general build. And if that's our build, I think we can find ways to compete. It's a good start.
