Alright, let's not talk anymore about Rockets fans. This is not the topic to do that. If you are interested in talking about the Rockets and their fans, we have a forum called "NBA discussion".

Most of us watched the Lakers even when they were really bad. That happens. You can't rebuild in a year, or be a contender every single season. That's impossible, even for this great franchise. You lack patience.

It sucks, because I really want Kobe to get that 6th ring even if he plays on one leg all season next year.... he deserves it.... I can't go through another year of misery...

We all want Kobe to get another ring. Which might, or might not happen. If it doesn't - he had an amazing career, was one of the greatest to ever play the game and that's that.

Now, about that "I can't go through another year of misery" part... come on, man. It's just basketball. One year is nothing, and it's certainly not misery. There are plenty of good things in life to keep you busy if you don't feel like watching basketball. The Lakers will rebuild, and will be back. That's how this team operates.

Besides, every team has to go through some bad years. It's not like the brilliant Spurs were winning championships every year, right? They have a great coach, a nice core of players, amazing front office... and what?

Not even the Lakers can - or should - win it all every single year. That's boring. Try to find some excitement in the process of rebuilding. It can actually be fun.

That failed CP3 trade which was blocked by the NBA is gonna push the Lakers franchise back for a long time, and everyone probably agrees with me. if we had CP3 now and Howard left we would have have a young star player to build around... now? if Howard leaves.... its like eating a can of worms.

Who? He said he was preparing for the "probability" of playing.

If anything, he should be preparing to get dunked on next year.

Yeah, this means a whole lot. :man11: You're really putting to much into "insider" posts and tweets from no names. I have to laugh at the Rocket fans there who must not have watched Dwight much this season. "He's the best center in the NBA, he makes us instant contenders!". Eh, that's what we said too, but realty, maybe temper expectations.

Eating a can of worms? I think you may have mixed up a few expressions there.

After thinking about it, I don't really care if Howard left... all I have to say is this though... he will always get booed in every Lakers games... if he did leave.... he already made another franchise cripple (orlando) and if he does the same to the Lakers... then I hope he breaks his back and never plays again.

I'm just stating my opinion..... Howard making 2 franchises cripple in less then a year will hurt his image in a big way... and no one will ever look at him the same way.

Howard is a clown... and that probably goes further back to the time were he was goofing around while he was missing FTs.

Who wishes a broken back on somebody? The only people that wish that type of thing on another human being are people who haven't had enough life experience to realize the true depth of that statement.

oh the irony of this statement.

First of all, we do not tolerate that kind of classless behavior here.

Next, you said this yourself, on page 979 of this thread:

C0TT0NCANDY wrote:If Howard decides not to resign who are we to question his decision? he has reasons to leave..... he has a bad coach right now... the roster is a mess..... no true wing-player... no consistent shooters... and a 40 year old PG who is most likley 1 tiny injury away from retiring.... yeah.... it's called common-sense.

So, which one is it? "He has reason to leave, so who are we to question his decision?" or "you hope he never plays again after breaking his back?"

You obviously have issues, and if you continue posting like this I will personally ban you. No worries.

C0TT0NCANDY man, no offense, but you seem emotionally unstable. "Mike Brown is a douchebag", "Jim Buss is the doom of the franchise", you hope Dwight "breaks his back". These are human beings, it's a game, if you don't like them and want them fired/gone, it's one thing, but man you're wishing personal harm, like I said earlier, get a grip.

Haha.. Well atleast Houston can't do that now. I wouldn't put it past them. I think they'll be in the bidding war for Dwight's BFF Smoove also. Can't blame them though, even if you don't get Dwight SVG is a good coach.
