I don't think this guy really cares about his free throws. If he did, he'd put some effort into working on them. It doesn't appear (or even sound like, considering the reports that he shoots the most 3's of anyone in practice) he does.

Pretty embarrassing for Dwight I'd say. Professional athlete yet you are detriment to your team down the stretch because you can't hit 50% of your fts.

If he bolts... then meh! Go terrorize another team with your FT shooting.

Yes, that's how mad I am right now. :man2:

Nobody wants Bynum. We want Dwight to make his free throws.

if u are team that can't get stops then take d12 out when hacking starts but if u can get stops during hack time hacking doesn't matter and it backfires to other team like it did in Nets game

^ Nah; because if Dwight can't shoot 50%, then no team in the league plays D well enough to hold off the opposition. Every team is surrendering at least .99 points per possession. Check the math.

He was a consistent 60% free-throw shooter until 2011. That would be good enough for him. But 45% is unadmissible.

By the way recovering from a back injury operation for months, I wonder if could have focused in throwing free throws...

He struggled early but he made 4 out of the last 6 FTs. Hes gotta do a better job on the glass as well

The whole team right now gets demorazlied when he misses FTs in the 4th, this is a veteran team they should display more mental strength then they have the last 2 games. Regroup and go at it again tomorrow

They're not the reason, but they're a huge reason.

Lol anyone watching post game? Dwight is saying his missed free throws had "nothing" to do with them losing the game... :freak2:
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

What's the point of getting Howard if we only use him on defense while Kobe chucks on offense?

Here is goes, it all started with Kobe blasting Pau and his teammates, now the first shot have been fired. Now it's Dwight time to blame other.

If it's fair to blame a loss on one key factor, it's Dwight's shooting in the Hack-a-Dwight situation. And it's not even close.

Exactly what I said in another thread. I thought the whole purpose of Dwight was to take advantage of an interior presence both on offense and defense.

If we don't want him involved at all on the offensive end that's fine, I guess he's a huge expiring contract.

Howard consumes the second most possessions per 36 minutes on the team. Second only to Kobe. You make it sound like he never touches the ball.

Disagree. It was a 4pt game when they started Hack a Howard with what, about 3 mins remaining? We were up 11 at hmmm the 7 min mark or so?

Plus he shot 50%. If you expect him to shoot much better than 50% in order for us to win games, then we aren't going to win any really.

And by my recollection, wasn't he 5 of 8 (62.5%) in the 1 minute span they employed hack a howard?
