40 minute podcast interview with Dwight:
http://www.sheridanhoops.com/2013/03/24 ... ht-howard/Some of things he touched on --
-Dieting.
-Dunks.
-His injuries.
-He'll get the team to do the Harlem Shake if we a 'ship.
-He and Hakeem talk/text during the season and he is going to work with him in the summer. Thinks he is the best big for him to work with.
-He will work with Cap too.
-Worked with LA's coaching staff on how to finish quicker to combat the opposition's hacking and how hard they hit him.
-The game in Orlando was the first time he's marked his calendar for a game.
-On what he's learned from Kobe/Nash: They don't let the things on the outside affect who they are and they've been stressing that all year (so has Pau and MWP).
-Superman nickname originated from teammates because he listened to Soulja Boy 24/7 when it first came out, benching 325 (estimation) in the weight room, and from dunking over Bo Outlaw in practice...the culmination of those events led to his Supes nickname.
-Doubts he'll ever do another dunk contest.
-Discusses his longstanding relationship with Adidas and what he wants to do with them in LA and has some big ideas on that front (doesn't sound like something you'd think all that much about if you weren't here for the long haul).
-Prefers blocking over dunking.
-High point in the season: coming together, working everything out, and listening to the passion of these guys wanting to win. And how Kobe, Nash, MWP, Pau want him to be one of the greatest
BTW, these interviewers (Jabari Davis, Jamieson Welsh, and Jory Dreher) seemed as though they didn't know what to say after Dwight answered one of their questions besides "cool, cool."
