Shaq (and Jordan and Lebron) share one common trait...they are all more physically gifted than the players at their position. They are all NOT, however, the most skilled players at their position. Natural size/athleticism is not earned, it is inborn. To brag or take credit for it is like bragging about eye color or penis size..nothing was done to deserve it or earn it, and nothing can be said to equate it with work ethic or merit. This is precisely why players like Aaron Rodgers or Kobe Bryant are more admirable than players like Andrew Bynum or LeBron James. Being the most physically gifted is a product of luck/good fortune. There is no work ethic or merit involved...that is primarily why I favor Kobe over every other player in the league.

Agree with all of this, except you saying Jordan wasn't the most skilled at his position. He was. By far. And I'm no fan of his.

More than Kobe? I think that's what he was saying. I didn't get to see Michael play in his prime, but I have seen tons of footage of him and I obviously have seen Kobe play during his prime. To me MJ was the better player, but Kobe was more skilled although it'a very, very close IMO.

Is about time he told Shaq to fall back. Maybe with a new crew he's got a little more confidence.

Between his own personal battle with Shaq over the years and the fact that Dwight is one guy that wont ever show up to training camp fat, you know Kobe's got Dwight's back. Last I heard, Nash isn't too fond of Shaq either. With all the bridges he burns, you just know for sure that Deputy Sheriff thing was just a publicity stunt....if they actually ran a background check he'd be in jail for arson.

Oh, and 700.

Love that picture and I LOVE Pau's expression. He looks as fired up as I've ever seen him.

3 things......

1.) Choose the guy in the picture that is less than a year off back surgery. :man10:

2.) Jordan Hill has some granny pants going on right now.

3.) I'm not prepared for the Pau scream yet this season, so I am glad this is a picture and not a video.

Tell them, Pau! ARGHHHHHARRGGG!

I like how Kobe gives Dwight the ball against three defenders then yells at him to finish. Well, if his back is OK, I guess he'll just dunk the ball and the defenders in the basket. :man9:
