No need to trade Bynum for Howard. Bynum is far more skilled on offense than Howard. there is no question Howard is a better defensive player than Bynum. But Bynum will improve and get better on defense. Bynum was a defensive beast when he was 20 years old before he got major knee injury. He can get this back.

I don't know, winning 5 championships in the 80's and 5 in the last decade was kinda fun. Fisher, at least is a capable SG backup.

When you're watching a sports game its never fun if your team loses, especially in the playoffs. I'd much rather have a team that dominates rather than one which is on par with every other team in the league.

getting all those players would be just as bad as what the Heat did to try to win.

give this team a couple more seasons together, I know we can get it done. They had another wake up call last year like they did in 08'. Hope we win the next 2 again

The Heat getting together is not what made NBA fans hate them, it's the way they did it. First, Lebron creates The Decision which made him and the Heat look bad, plus it was a slap in the face to the Cavs. Then they hold a celebration party before they've even played their first game together and Lebron has the guts to say they will win more than 7 championships. Once the season actually starts they start talking about how they're the victims and everyone should feel sorry for them, etc. And then when they lose in the finals Lebron says something along the lines of how everyone will go back to their normal lives while he'll continue to live a rich life.

The "big 3" had all the right to do what they did that's why it's called free agency, but the manner in which they did it was completely wrong and created this bad image surrounding them.

Supposedly LA is in the mix....but its not us :man5:

...rather its the Clips who will throw everything they can at Orlando (except Blake Griffin) to bring in Dwight. If that's plan A, then plan B would be to bring in CP3....who just like the Clips consider them to be his plan B. Plan A for Chris are the Knicks.

It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out, but it would be a big mistake if the Lakers didn't try to get involved.

1. Broussard is an idiot.
2. Howard still has to sign the extension.
a. Howard wants to win and if he wants to win he sure as hell isn't going to the Clippers.
b. If there is an offer made by both LA teams, Howard will sign the extension for the Lakers.

Well its always interesting when you hear that the Lakers are involved with every key free agent, cause basically we all know agents do that to up the price for their client for the real team that they want to join. In this case, what exactly is this "source" saying? Are they trying to send a cryptic message to the Lakers this time stating that we better make a move, otherwise we'll miss out???

All I can say is that when Dec. 9th hits, it will probably be my most unproductive day, unless you want to consider hitting the refresh button on my laptop as productive.

Give this team a couple more seasons together? They've been together for years. They aren't going to make a move if it isn't a beneficial one. Why would you be against that?

ANY team would have done what the HEAT did if they were in position to. Even Donald Sterling.

the clippers have no bigs outside of griffin. their best offer for any star is eric gordon, eric bledsoe, and deandre jordan

why would dwight agree to go somewhere with an identical offensive player in griffin and no perimeter players

however that offer gets it done for chris paul

Fisher isn't capable of anything on the court anymore.

That's simply not true. He's actually very capable of being a solid role player still. Hell he could even be with the starting unit and play 20 minutes a game. His three point % was still 39.6 last season and he averaged 1.2 steals per game (same as Kobe). He's still the best cool headed leader on the team and very much capable of playing the game.

In fact his averages in the playoffs were 41.2% from deep and 3.6 assists per game (good for second on the team behind Pau).

The guy is still capable of playing, just not the minutes he's been playing.
