Anyone know anything from a reliable source? Any docs in the house?

Howard (shoulder) indicated his labrum is not really torn, but rather the bone has separated from the labrum, the Orange County Register reports. He indicated that he's being rested to avoid aggravating the injury. "[The injury will be] gauged in a week to see where my pain level is. If there's any pain, hopefully I can play. I'm going to continue to do the rehab and strengthen my shoulder. I have a lot of strength in it now, but like I said, they want to be super cautious nothing bad happens."

Small chance Dwight Howard (shoulder) plays tomorrow vs. CLE. Right now he's out but will be evaluated again before game. #Lakers

the lakers medical staff is absolutely horrible at predicting the return timetables of these injuries. i remember how bynum was supposed to miss "a few weeks" which turned into the whole season in '08 and then nash this season who took 2 months to return when it was supposed to be "one week"
i lost trust in the lakers medical staff years ago

Pau Gasol (concussion) will not play tonight. Dwight Howard (shoulder) will be re-evaluated before the game tonight.

So there’s a possibility that Howard could return tonight, but we won’t know until pregame at Staples. Gasol will be tested again tomorrow.

Then again, I guess the same could be said for Nash and Blake. Injuries suck. But Pau's timing just seems to force us to hate him. When is rains...is Pau's
@LakersReporter
Lakers finally get some good injury news: Dwight Howard (shoulder) will start tonight vs CLE.
