Now we're really going to suffer. People who are not huge fans of Dwight will have the opportunity to see what he means for the team's scoring, rebounding and, especially, defense.
Finally, we'll have the opportunity to see what Pau can do in the post, since that's what he was complaining about. Unfortunately, I fear I know how that's going to look like. Hope I'm wrong.

As for Dwight, that's a huge blow to an already struggling team, to our almost non existent defense, we haven't had to play without him all season. Only in his ejection did we get a taste of how we looked without him and it wasn't pretty.
He's got a concussion.
Yeah I saw that almost immediately and changed my post, only Pau could get a concussion and gushing bloodied nose from an accidental elbow.
kobebryant Kobe Bryant 3m
The mamba vs d12 !! It's on lol

Just saw the tweet a few minutes ago.

I thought Novak got hit worse by the Metta elbow during the Christmas day game. I don't think he missed any time for that; I could be mistaken, though. You're right, though. Only Pau...

Seemed believable to me, the twitter picture is good PR, but they clearly don't like eachother much on the court.

The twitter picture is convenient isn't it?
I have no doubt that they had words.... Kobe and Shaq had words.... Kobe and Lamar had words.... Kobe and Phil had words....Kobe and Bynum had words..... makes sense that he'd have words with Howard.
Now none of this is to think that I'm down on Kobe.... it's his team... he's' got the championship experience and he's proven to be a leader of championship teams.... he's also emotional and speaks his mind. Most people like that (I'm one of them) make points and move on that way.

Im giving him the benefit of the doubt, he is more frustrated than anything. He is not upset enough to the point where he is thinking about skipping town, I think thats very premature given all we have had to go through.
I think dwight is just openly speaking his mind and not afraid to voice his frustrations, and technically everything he said was correct. We do need to share the ball more, develop chemistry and most of all be excited and energetic. Players try and lead in their own ways and he is just sharing his frustration at what he thinks is wrong with our team. This tells me that he does care alot and that he knows we have to potential to really be good.
"It's just funny. We're losing. Every little story that comes out is geared towards breaking our team up," Howard said. "We're bigger than that. We're stronger than that and we're not going to let anything divide us."
“It was painful,” Lakers forward Pau Gasol(notes) said. “It is a feeling that I want to keep in my mind for every single minute that I’m out there playing them.”

Bryant dismissed the report as inaccurate.
"It's not true. We all try to be professional about what we do," Bryant said. "I guess some people skate around that a little bit."
The Lakers have struggled all season and currently are three games below .500.
"Obviously there are fake stories coming out, somebody has something against our team," Howard said. "It's not us. Me and Kobe don't have a problem with each other. We're not beefing. So for somebody to come out with a random story and say me and him got into a fight?"
"It's ridiculous," continued the Lakers center. "I just think it's funny."

Thank goodness he doesnt have a history of milking injuries in places where he's unhappy...
