This is what I was worried about when we got Howard. The specifics of his success in Orlando are not present here. He's doing the best he can but the pieces just aren't here to have the flow he is used to having.

Lack of floor balance is the primary culprit..... and out best 3 point shooter is not seeing the floor these days either....

Well like I said, if we stayed active around the rim, we'd be fine. Part of that is athleticism and part of that is Gasol.

Gasol complains about not being in the paint, but he doesn't seem to realize he is allowed to enter the paint to fight for rebounds. Clark on the other hand is ALWAYS fighting for rebounds. Is some of that athleticism? Yes. And some is just effort. Clark and Howard next to each other showed it can be effective (Bucks and Cavs) while Gasol and Howard hasn't shown that so far this season.

I'd say the primary culprit of not giving Dwight a break is a lack of movement. Just because we're spacing the floor doesn't mean we can't move and cut and do things to make the defense respect us.

And Meeks will get out there soon, I know it. He just needs a minute for his jets to cool down.

I've noticed this too, Dwight doesn't seem to set a lot of well timed, solid screens. What's the point if you don't pick the man? What's the point in not doing them correctly?

Well...

Shaq has a superior post game, stronger, commands a double team, a superior passer, and was surrounded with shooters and cutters... You can center your offense around Shaq because he can drop 40 in his sleep...

All Dwight Howard has is that ugly hook shot...
