So this is how he will look on the floor when his atleticism decrease with age ... pretty average player ...

Hopefully he will get his timing , atleticism back within 4-6 weeks ... if not we are in trouble

^

He's so average with 19/10, shooting 67% while recovering from back surgery and after months of not playing. All while trying to figure out our new nonsense offensive system.

Dwight's free throw concern

This is actually a pretty good idea. I was thinking about this few days ago; I tried it myself, although I don't really play anymore, and was able to hit around 75% of my FTs. It feels really good once you get used to it, and you can get some nice ball rotation as well. I was surprised actually how easy it is. He should give it a try and be the only guy in the league who does this.

I couldn't give a rat's arse about his boxscore line in a loss. He left 11 pts on the freethrow line, and shot less than 25% from the line. That's a bad day for Kwame Brown.

I agree about FTs, but that wasn't an average performance for a center, regardless.

^ That. The idea that what Dwight did last night was average is absolutely ludicrous.

He's not there yet, he'll get back to where he was. It's not health it's conditioning. Be patient...

Average.. what a joke.

I'd rather Dwight shoot a banker at the FT line. At least if he misses, it gives his teammates a chance to tip it in.

I don't typically like to blame one player, but Dwight's FT's really killed us last night. We shot 49FG% as a team, but only made 77 attempts to Dallas' 85 attempts. That's mostly because Dallas hacked Dwight so much. His 14 FTA's ads up to 7 shot attempts. We shot 31 FTA's overall and only made 12 of them.

Ya he needs to get his leg strength and conditioning back. And strengthen the back so he has more spring.

Until then he's not gonna be himself. But I think those worries of him not producing the same with guys around him are gone.

19 and 10 playing at like 75% of himself and missing 12 fts. When he's healthy he's gonna put up 25ppg without trying

It is going to take awhile to get back to where he was, just from a game conditioning stand point.

^Let's put it this way, Dallas is one of the few big markets with cap space next season. If they want to steal Dwight this offseason from us, they made a very good impression.

He'll have a better coach in Carlisle that's for sure that can maximize his talents.

I don't think he can take another year of playing for a clueless coach after going through that with SVG in Orlando.

lol dwights not leaving. he's not gonna spurn the largest fanbase in the league, especially when jim and mitch have the track record they have

lets not be ridiculous to think 1 game means anything more than making us 0-1

Lakers fans are the WORST fans in the world! Wow, you guys are disgusting! WHAT THE Fu** did you expect from a guy that just walk and play call of duty on Xbox for 4 months? Ouh my GOD! Sooo disgusting, and to call his last night performance AVARAGE? Definitely worst fans ever! 19-10 in first game is bad for you?

He got beat for a lot of rebounds and wasn't much of a factor on D ... I never said it wasn't expected after being out 6 months or that I won't expect him to get better ...

His impact in this game was average ... numbers don't tell the whole story

totally agree. absolutely right. if lakers win all good with dwight and kobe . but if they loose all so called fans attacking kobe and dwight and steve nash not to forget pau and yeah the whole team like they are all crap. what the f.... is wrong with you guys. yup it was a bad loss espicially on defense and free throw shooting. but let s face it what the hell you all guys expecting from a team that didn t have a chance to play that much together in preseason and what are you all expecting from d12 30 and 20 after a real long injury ? really ? that is so bad. d12 has to go back in shape that s for sure but he will. but that will not come overnight espicially after such a long injury time. so maybe it s a little wiser to be a little patient and don t put the hammer down on the team after one bad rs season loss. that is the biggest reason why lakers fans are so hated from all the other basketball fans. everytime complaining, whining and so on. i am a lakers fan and i am disappointed about the loss but i am also realistic . it will be hard for the first month for the lakers but they will figure it out and then they will absolutely fine . but many of you guys don t give them time . you can t expect that lakers would be dominant from the first tip off. be patient and it will be fixed. one more thing heat were 9-8 in the first month as the big 3 era began. so quit whining and support your team

Dwight was average last night? :man10: :man10: :man10: :man10: :man10:

Give me a break. Out of the all ridiculous comments we saw last night this takes the cake.

You claim Howard wasn't getting beat for rebounds last night yet he still had 10. His free throw shooting was horrendous obviously, but this is his first game back. It's gonna take him awhile to get back fully. Still for his first game back he as pretty good.
