I hope they do that. For some reason, I'm thinking Bosh's length will do more to alter shots than Bron's strength.

I don't want Bosh guarding D12. He will probably try to grab D12's shoulders just to get a feel. :man12:

Lebron grabbing and holding "defense" will be less effective...

He's rounding in to shape. Id rather have Dwight at 85% and be consistent than Drew being at 100% and unreliable.

He wont be in the paint if hes guarding Battier. Otherwise, wide open 3's all day.

Every time Dwight and Nash ran a high pick and roll, instead of setting a hard screen on Chalmers, Dwight slipped the screen every time. Coincidentally, Dwight hardly got open down low. I don't know what's so appealing about slipping screens to Dwight

He had a decent game. Mike needs to run plays to get him the ball.

Great defense. Nash and Kobe couldn't get him the ball with their errant passes, so not much I could have expected out of him. Best player tonight in terms of impact.

I've noticed this too, Dwight doesn't seem to set a lot of well timed, solid screens. What's the point if you don't pick the man? What's the point in not doing them correctly?

That's a great point ... Pau can't set a good screen too

He just has bad hands and horrible touch around the hoop ... he can't make a decent catch in a crowd

You can tell that Dwight is getting healthier and his impact is getting greater and more consistent. He needs more touches but sometimes he's not working hard to get post position. But that's understandable at times cause he has to anchor the d. Plus, he's so strong, he might get offensive fouls for pushing guys off.

Airballing a clutch free throw = disgusting.

I can't say it enough, he's NOT EVEN CLOSE to a #1 offensive option. Can't rely on him to score consistently because a) he isn't skilled enough (fundamentals, bad hands, bad touch around the rim), b) he can't hit a FT, c) he isn't the smartest guy out there (i.e. taking too long to make his move allowing other players to effectively help on him).

Dwight's hands are good enough. If u want comedy, check out a Clip game. DJ has the worst hands i have ever seen for a big man. It's comical.

THIS.
He really needs to start setting hard screens. Looking at how the officials were ignoring countless illegal screens by Miami (Joel Anthony and Haslem in particular), he should try to do the same. It'll do wonders for us.

Dwight is who he is..Laker fans shouldn't have expected he's suddenly going to start making his freethrows. While it is very very very frustrating to see him struggle at the line, he's an anchor on D. He's only going to get better in shape as the season goes on..hopefully before its all too late.

But with that said, he really needs to start dominating on O for us to have a chance to close out games, he can't be throwing these weak little hooks when he doesn't even have the right mechanics. I just want him to throw it down and poster people once he gets an offensive rebound.
