The personnel fit the profiles of the heroes, and this squad is obviously Mitch and the Buss family's revenge (Avengers Assemble!) against Stern and the rest of the owners for vetoing our CP3 trade and also for actually calling us out in the new CBA talks and trying their best to hold us down.
I'd say Steve Nash is Captain America- leader, tactician, not the strongest guy out there but full of heart and courage.
Dwight Howard would be Thor to me. God-like strength and body, relishes the good guy protector role and a total warrior.
I'd say Kobe is the Iron Man, Tony Stark. Sleek, smart, sophisticated, playboy, has all the tools, gadgets, skills and brains to take everyone out - even if they are stronger or quicker. Arguably the best "All Around" super hero of the bunch.
I'd put Pau in the Hawkeye role. It's his skills that kill the opponent. Hawkeye has the deadeye marksmanship. Pau is the most skilled big guy you will find. It's not about hand to hand combat and physical strength - it's about his accuracy and making the most of his specific skills.
Lastly, but not least, Ron Ron is the Hulk! Just think about Ron making that play against OKC, celebrating in classic "Hulk SMASH" mode and whacking Beard in the head. The Hulk is just pure aggro and that's Ron Ron in a nutshell. He's always angry, he just tries to contain it. That's his secret.
Sorry to comic geek out. Obviously I love both comics and the Lakers. Any op to put 'em together? I'll take it.

You do know that Thor is the Norse God of Thunder and the fiercest warrior in the pantheon? Not to mention that he's built like a tank. Do those attributes really fit spindly, shy away from contact Gasol? Never.
^ Seriously.
