he looked good around the rim on drives and rebounded well by going up high and strong. made very few mistakes out there and stayed with his man on d no matter who he was guarding guards or bigs. seriously hope he gets more minutes against okc bc him on durant would be fun or ibaka.

I'll be totally honest, I thought this kid was the worst player in that trade.

He surprised me tonight. I don't ever expect him to hit a three again in his career, but if he could be a nice energy guy that'd be great. He's young and athletic and that's something we need.

Our biggest this season has been defense. Antwan is maybe our biggest liability. Too slow for SFs, to small for PF's.

If everything was clicking right and we weren't giving up 115+, then I'd be upset that he wasn't getting mins. But given we are as bad as we are on D, I think a Clark makes more sense as the 4th big after Dwight/Pau/Hill. Jamison is going to have to deal with. It's not all on him. Pau is horrible on D which makes a guy like Hill and Clark more neccessary.

i feel bad for jamison too but hes not doing anything to kind of negate his poor defense. there were times when he got a hand on a pass or as someone drove but that was the extent of his defense other than rebounding.

clark was awesome and did what our PF should be doing with this offense. he stayed aggressive but patient and not force anything. he hit the open jumpers and attacked the rim AND FINISHED off pnr. he showed great athleticism on offense as well as defense as he defending smaller guards as well as big guys. he defended duncan pretty damn well when he was on him.

his shooting for his pretty good for a big and when he shot that 3 the first time it looked good but was strong and the last one i knew was going in.

sucks jamison will lose even more minutes but im not too upset bc clark was a pleasant surprise and if he continues to play like he did on both ends then jamison will be out. jamison i think has to start hitting those open shots and attacking as well as playing offball. hes gotta show something else bc clark easily out played him and hopefully continues to do well.

having jamison find his groove and play well as well as clark coming off the bench as well as hill could be deadly for opponents.

hope clark continues to play hard and well like he did tonight. unreal game for him and almost won us a game imo

Really surprised no one put these quotes in here:

Mike Trudell ‏@LakersReporter

D’Antoni: “Earl Clark was phenomenal … he deserves (a shot to enter the rotation when other bigs return).”

:jam2: good!

Lakers Nation ‏@LakersNation

D'Antoni on Clark: "I look like an idiot for not playing him." Welp.

Can he become the Jordan Hill of this season ?

Never played , has his number called , played one great game then became a constant contributor for the team

Very impressed with this kid esp with not playing so long. Almost sent that game into OT. Hope he gets some minutes, it'd be interesting to see what he can do against OKC. And yes Danny, you are looking like an idiot...
