ya, agreed. I think he needs to be on a team like the Raptors, Cats, Cavs or Bucks...kind of dry teams that go no where and have no pressure whatsoever.

KB24 wrote:^oh by pressure I didn't mean pressure for him.
When teams have no pressure, they experiment with young players, you get more opportunities and there is less pressure to take you out. Teams are more patient and take the time to develop players.
Lakers don't rebuild, they reload. They don't develop talents, they get talent.

We'll see who the FO takes to warm the bench a non-guaranteed rookie contract or vet minimum...simple economics

So who would you rather have Earl Clark or Kenyon Martin?
Clark just to lower our age average. They won't play much anyway.
Let me put this another way, if D12 or Pau can't play, you are comfortable with Clark playing minutes over Martin because it lowers our average age?
Why are you obsessing about MartinI'll never want him on the Lakers, he's a fugazy (Tim Thomas says so) and now over the hill

A proven player who we know will be able to contribute or a second round pick...simple logic.

While I agree that he can play defense....... did you see his offense?.... We've had issues closing games and keeping leads..... and running our starters too long.... Martin is a one way player at this point...... and Clark doesn't look to be NBA caliber..... I'll pass on both.

No offense Roos, but you pass on everyone. If it were up to you the Lakers would be made up of like maybe 6 players. I don't think you're going to be happy with ANY acquisition.
All this "one-way" player talk... They're bench guys Roos, that's why they are one-way players. You don't get a ton of two-way players off the bench in this league.
