Jamison will be a great off the bench players but he not a disruptive player on defense and isn't really a PF/C.... I think the "second unit" will have Hill/Jamison and one of Howard or Pau.... I don't think we'll see much of a Hill/Jamison front line alone....


Or much of Jamison at SF because he don't have the foot speed for it anymore.

How is he going to be convicted in a court of law prior to the season??? His lawyer said, even if it has to go to trial....very doubtful.....it won't happen until (much later?) (or after the season is over?)

So we have Hill, Dwight, and now Earl Clark out.

Looks like Sacre is going to be playing a lot of minutes these days.

Fortunately, with Dwight, Pau, Sacre, Jamison... and Hill returning soon, we have enough quality bigs.

Sucks he's injured. I'd like to see more of him the preseason. He's a good defender. However, his offensive game leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't mind him being used situationally on KD, though. Worth a shot...

With Earl Clark out with a strained groin, I wonder if his job is in jeopardy with the Lakers?
If he's not making an impact on the staff, can't play &is owed just $1.24 mil - is that an amount the Lakers are willing to swallow (double with tax, so $2.48 mil) to open a roster spot? It's rare when a guaranteed player is cut outright but the Cavaliers just dumped Azubuike - & he'll get his $. If it's deemed that Clark is indeed a 3 & not a 4 - & CDR can play 3? Does that open spot for him and DJO?


I would not be opposed to this in the slightest if it means CDR and DJO make the team. Hell do the same with Morris, so that we can get Sacre/CDR/DJO on the team.

^ Yeah, I mean damn if you're willing to swallow the cash. That's what I've been saying from the start about guys like Morris and Goudelock.

Buss has already pushed way too many chips into the pot to back out now. Go all in. Buy out/waive who you need to and then sign the guys that are best for the team. CDR, DJO, and Sacre should all be here.

Honestly I'd rather they cut Morris than Clark, I like the potential Clark has defensively especially against longer players such as Durant.

It's 2.5 mil with cap considerations to cut Clark. Doubtful it's gonna happen especially since he could have some use.

I was prepared for this team to have some injuries especially being a veteran team. I just didn't expect them to happen to our younger players like Hill and Clark.

There are two things that happen once you put on a Laker uniform from other locations. One, you're shot dips 10% points. The other, you get injured indefinitely.

All joking aside, that's good. I want our team as healthy as possible to start the season and end the season.

Only question mark for me is Kobe. I'm guessing they gave Jordan an extra day of rest because Earl was ready to go.

Bump...good speed, height, length, nice touch from mid range, YOUNG, athletic and nice finisher...Will be a good tool for the new offense.

I only see him playing as a back up 4 is Gasol or Hill get hurt, or at 3 if Ron gets hurt or in foul trouble and Jamison, Kobe or Ebanks are also out. Otherwise, its garbage time.

nice touch or great shooter?...he does have a nice touch and as he was able to work on his tendency to fade to the side, it became more accurate.
