Earl Clark Discussion: Second Wind?

Pretty much what bruddah said. Also, I love his attitude, loved hearing about how he kept going hard even though he wasn't playing at all and is now fully taking advantage of this opportunity.

Hero of tonight's game, no doubt.

He looked real good. A guy that size with his length & athleticism, ability to handle the ball, rebound and hit from the 3-point line is huge. We found a keeper. Very good game.

With Meeks and Clark now being used consistently, we have the youth and athleticism we all craved for early in the season. who would have thunk it, it was on the bench all this time but I was telling my brother in that game against Denver, that Karl made a mistake and should've chosen Sacre.

I'd say he's more like Trevor Ariza to this team. Perfect cuts, nice outside shot (seemingly out of nowhere), and a damn solid defender.

the thing that makes him stand out is that he can play the 3 or the 4 and he has the ability to explode for double digit rebound games. same cannot be said for barnes or ariza.

Reminds me of a Channing Frye type but with a more all around game...

One day he reminds me of Lamar, another day he reminds me of Trevor. Tonight he reminded me of Trevor. Great game

What a diamond in the rough this guy turned out to be, wow. He looks like he is only going to get better from here on out.

What a huge bright spot he's been. With Earl, Hill, Dwight, we're set for the future with some really good bigs.

The guy plays with heart & hustle on both ends. Not a big name but has big game & that's what counts. Clarksanity!

Frye was tall, unathletic and slow... but dead eye on jumpers.

Earl is Ariza + 3 inches in height. He even moves like Ariza. Sorta glides out there. Looks like he's moving slow but he's not.

C'mon man did Devin steal your tv or something? Clark is a really bad player, he's had more chances than Ebanks just due to years and even in those moments he's had to shine, he hasn't shown a whole lot more than Devin. I don't think Clark has any shot at all of doing anything over Devin.

I wasn't impressed by what I saw when I looked into what he had (or hadn't) done at this level..... but Real.... really wasn't impressed. I'll take a little credit for indicating that he may be a better choice over Ebanks however..... I still haven't gotten my T.V. back either....

I'm very pleasantly surprised by Clark. He seems to know where to be on the floor on offense.... he rarely gets caught out of place and is taking advantage of his opportunity. Nothing in his past, even all the way back to his college days, would indicate that he's a good shooter from more than 10 to 15 feet. He's either practiced his butt off or he's in a hot streak. Time will tell. Either way it's nice to have a surprise like this in an otherwise crappy season so far....

I'm sure not the "persons" here that when he "first" started to shine a bit and look like he really might be something useful to us, said he gave us a bit of "Lamar Light" out there. Being that we now know how hard he has been working and has that excellent mind set to continue.......and how long & coordinated with already decent handles for a guy 6'10", very good D at multiple positions and as athletic & quick as he is......and the very good rebounder he is, and with his already really improved J & 3 point plus midrange and driving and finishing capabilities........ WOW hell yeah to that thought. You can see his confidence and comfort growing since he was put in the starting lineup. IMO, at his age and with him to continuing to work that hard .......the "Light" part of the Odom comparison won't be applicable for long.

another salary dump player I didn't expect anything out off (brown,ariza,hill).....but after all him and hill were both lottery picks just nice to see them get a chance and its happened on our team , I was shocked when Stu mentioned he had 20/12, like quitest 20/12 I've seen in a while but you know he's there doing it all just didnt' realize at that type of lvl now.
