^ True, but if they're long term 1-2 million dollar contracts for young guys, I can see the Lakers biting on that. They'll have to if they want to stay relevant.

If Clark goes down, this would be even worse than '04. Might as well shut down the season already.

Just wait for it...something will happen to Bosh. Potentially Wade too, he has some bad injury Karma IMO.

I think Clark will be okay. He'll get his foot taped up, I don't think he's injured. His body isn't used to playing these minutes. Might be good to limit his minutes this game. Let him get some rest over the ASB. Just pissed, this means more Metta.

Earl Clark underwent an MRI on his sore right foot Tuesday.
Clark did not participate in the morning shootaround and the need for the MRI suggests serious pain. The Lakers say his status for Tuesday night's game against the Suns will be determined once the results of the MRI are evaluated. Note that if Clark sits out Tuesday and Thursday, he'll have a full eight days of recovery time before the next game thanks to the All-Star break. Antawn Jamison is a solid insurance add right now. If he's in serious pain and the results of the MRI aren't determined well enough before tonight's game, I say sit him. We don't need another Pau injury, don't push this guy if he can injure it further or the injury isn't fully understood yet.
