Earl Clark Discussion: Second Wind?

Didn't know he was taken at 14 by the Suns. Looks like we have an athletic 4. A poor man's Lamar Odom

He's a 3/4 if my memory serves correct. Also, he's one of my favorite role players in 2k12.

Never heard of this guy, but I doubt he could be worse than McRoberts was last year if we actually use him.

I wouldn't be so sure just yet, I'd much rather have KMart over Sacre and with Dwight being out for the first month or so of the season we could use a veteran.

Here's a note from Clark's yahoo page:

Clark heads to the Lakers along with Dwight Howard and Chris Duhon. The Magic receive Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless, three first-round picks, and a 2013 second-round pick. The 76ers will acquire Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, while the Nuggets will receive Andre Iguodala. Clark had opted out of his final year with the Magic, so there is a little uncertainty if he will stay with the Lakers this season.

Let me put this another way, if D12 or Pau can't play, you are comfortable with Clark playing minutes over Martin because it lowers our average age?

I like Clark's size and athleticism. He's yet another long athlete we can throw at Durant. Will he be a Durant stopper? No. Nobody is. But if can throw enough bodies at him, maybe we slow him down a little. He might turn out to be another Ariza or Shannon Brown.

Why are you obsessing about Martin I'll never want him on the Lakers, he's a fugazy (Tim Thomas says so) and now over the hill
