Thanks for the heads up Rock

Earl Clark is late. Lakers apparently are trying to locate him. LOL :man10:

I don't care if he's absent minded, forgetful, hard of hearing, bad with directions or time management, or just plain a knucklehead/dumb, as long as he plays well I'm happy. :man10: Plus he seems like a good guy.

He definitely has a stuttering problem. That doesn't necessarily make him dumb.

oh i agree, just before it was coincidence, or could be called that. now the evidence is mounting that he may in fact be a little on the Duh side.

All except the good guy comment. I'd take Martin on the team despite his issues, but he comes across to me as a douche with a bad attitude, while Clark seems like a genuinely good guy with no attitude, just does his job.

It would be interesting to see if the Lakers put Earl Clark on Joe Johnson, I think he can give JJ some fits.

I don't care if Earl Clark is a mensa member or not, as long as he continues doing what he's doing.

They're awful.

Mason and Ireland are far better, but they aren't as trendy so they got pushed. Not to mention both of them have enough other work that their radio time slot is becoming less important.

i actually enjoy both mason & ireland (for insight, and entertainment) and max & marcellus (mostly for entertainment). marcellus is a clipper bandwagoner though :man10:

Mason and Ireland are great. Have always liked Ireland and I guess it took Mason being paired with him to stop being a dick. I couldn't stand his "ball hog Bryant" hating days in the hard years before the two championships. Now he's listenable and OK.

So....aside from people here saying Earl seems not the sharpest tool in the shed and having a bit of a stuttering problem, what did he actually say? Or did the interview never happen today?

he didn't actually leave me with that impression. he struck me as a guy who isn't used to giving in-depth interviews, and just ended up a bit long-winded and repetitive in his answers. no biggie.

Mason strikes me as a guy who doesn't really know a lot about basketball, Ireland is just a self-admitted homer although I don't mind listening to him.

I don't care for Marcellus at all but Max Kellerman is the best. Usually knows what he's talking about and he's hilarious.
