This one definitely.
Finally beating Boston in the Garden was big for me a well.
As for regular season games I'd have to rank a Laker game in Houston in 86. Hakeem and Sampson were the LeBron and Durant of the day in that they were getting all of the hype. The matchup was deemed the passing of the torch from Kareem to the young guys in a promo for the Friday Night Game of the Week.... Kareem was 38 I believe..... he proceeded to drop 46 and grab 11 boards shooting 21-30 in the game. His last shot in the game was a reverse dunk over both of the twin towers. The towers scored 35 combined points.
Kareem averaged 35 PPG against Houston that year with games of 43 and 46. Keep in mind that while he was the greatest scorer of all time his career high game is just 55 points so at age 38 that's pretty impressive
For some reason I remember that game more than most others I've watched over the years.
