Hey all,

There was a report out of the Philippines that the Lakers were looking at Jerome Jordan http://sulia.com/my_thoughts/02027c0a-9 ... ce=twitter

Which leads to:

This guy is posting decent numbers in the D-league. And he's a big.

Wow. He has more post moves than Howard. In fact, he'd have the best post game of any of our bigs other than Gasol.

He moves like molasses. I think the NBA game would leave him behind. He's also built like McGee physically. He's not entirely grown into his body. I'd like to see him try to strengthen up before we tried playing him at an NBA level.

I'll take him over Jamison/Clark/Metta as our backup 5 when Dwight resting on the bench.

I'd rather have an undersized yet NBA tested big in Amundson.

Wow... great mechanics on his jumper, and pretty good foootwork. I like this kid and am wondering why he wasn't drafted?? He's also got LOONNG arms, so will block a bunch of shots.

No thanks on Amundson... he's a hustle guy and can grab some boards, but has a low ceiling. I'd rather bring up another legit 7-footer than roll out another 6'9" guy masquerading as one.

EDIT: Correction - he was drafted by the Bucks 44th overall in the 2010 draft

Give this guy some time in the gym, get his condition and timing up. He's looks fundamentally sound.

I see more of a Hibbert type player. Good mechanics, just a solid body, not too much athleticism.

^ I actually see some Bynum in him... minus the knees

As for moving like "molasses", check out how well he moves his feet in the first highlight in this vid..

Another nice compilation of his Tulsa highlights... his footwork is really, really good. I like how well he anchors his pivot foot..

Here we go overrating another D-League scrub who didn't make it in the league. This guy is 26, Amundson is 30, they both are pretty much what they are going to be. We need a hustle big off the bench that can play both PF and C. Amundson is nothing special, but he's all hustle, goes after boards, both things we need, and he's played with Nash before. We don't need another project we have one in Sacre, we need a guy that can jump in and play now.

Eh. Alright.

Well he looks like DJ Mbenga before DJ took martial arts lessons. He needs to hit the gym and get those weights moving. He looks like a baby deer out there sometimes.

Jared Zwerling ‏@JaredZwerling

Ex-Knick Jerome Jordan has been playing well in D-League & looking for 10-day deal. #Knicks were monitoring but can't sign him this season.
