I'm torn on whether having Nash back will help or hurt. He is an atrocious defender and Parker always kills him. Offensively if he's a shoot first guy we will be better off IMO. He and Pau passing up open shots is playing right into Pop's game plan. He'd much rather have Meeks and MWP launching from the outside than Nash and Pau.... unfortunately those two are always thinking pass first.
Pau has to be a shoot first player in this series for us to have a fighting chance. Having the ball 4 feet from the hoop and passing to MWP 25 feet away is not a recipe for success against poor team much less the Spurs.
In match-ups we may only have one advantage on the floor and that's Pau/Splitter. Depending on which Pau plays that may not even be the case. It will take us playing well above our heads and consistent effort to win the series.... two things we haven't seen a lot of this season unfortunately.
