Well, the Lakers will give them a tough series. A lot hinges on Nash getting back. We need to play Grizzlies basketball, keep up the defensive intensity and grind these games out, give ourselves a chance to win in the fourth. We'll be alright.

Ugh, those dreadful Sunday afternoon games. Let's make the most of the opportunity that we've earned for ourselves and show that we can compete without KB24.

Depending on the health of Ginobili, Parker's performances, Nash's return, and a little bit of luck we might have a chance here. A really really small one but at least they're aren't fully healthy as opposed to OKC. I don't think we'll win but it should be a fun series.

Also I don't really mind any of the Spurs players, unlike OKC where half their roster just annoys me.

I'm going to call 6. If it gets to 7 I think we lose.

I think it goes win, lose, win, win, lose, win.

If we emphasize defense and our frontline on offense (taking the 3ball from going inside out), then the Lakers may shock some people. And for god's sake, when Nash returns, please monitor his minutes responsibly!

Doing anything else...forgetaboutit! But I'm going to remain pessimistic about our chances....cause so far it seems to be working out in our favor.

We really need Nash to come back. Steve Blake has been solid for us, but I really do not want the Lakers playing Morris and/or Glock for extended periods of time during the playoffs. Forget their skill levels, we need experienced veterans out there.

I highly doubt we see the same ugly shooting ugly offense we saw out of the spurs the last game we played them....only chance I see is if Manu is still hurting and or doesn't play at all

Right now, with this roster, I don't know if we can win the series. We might win 1 or 2, max. However, if we have a healthy Nash who adds a totally different dimension to this team, even at his advanced age, that will be a huge help to our team. It also helps he's our best shooter by far.

Jordan Hill also coming back will be huge. We add another big body who can guard the 4&5 & rebound at a very high rate. He's all energy and give 100% effort. He can also add another body we throw at Duncan at different points during the game. J. Hill makes a ton of difference to this team and strengthens our bench.

WTS...if we get what Nash & Hill are capable of along with the same effort & intensity we have been bringing, I think we pull an upset. Lakers in 6...

Two things :

- Tony Parker shape
- Will their role players hit open looks ?

If Parker is in good shape and the 2nd thing happens , we're out in 4 or 5 games ... if they don't we have a chance ... simple as that

Also it would be amazing if Vegas gave us a slightly better chance in this series simply because of McGrady's signing with the Spurs :man10:

I think it'll come down to the health of both teams. Whoever gets their guys back will win.

My gut says Lakers in 6.

Biggest mismatch: Pop vs MDA.

It was ugly shooting because the Lakers played some good defense. Shots were contested, guys were bodied up... Sure they missed a couple of open shots, but overall it had to do with Lakers' defense.

I don't think the proper credit is being given to their excellent defense that game..

If we get Nash and Hill back, we have a real chance. Nash's ability to play defense will be key, though. We've defended the pick and roll so well the past two games, it'd be a shame to see that change.

We've got that huge advantage down low and Dwight is beasting on D. We just need to slow the game down and keep rotating well on defense.
