But further examination of Fox's injured left foot reveals more tendon damage than originally thought, making it possible Fox will be out from 6-9 months or even a year, the L.A. Daily News reports.

Hmmm... This is really bad news, not for the team, but just for Fox and his career, hopefully hell be back as quick as possible, recover well foxy!

I really feel sorry for Rick. I guess the time span is 6 months to a year. Hopefully he comes back strong.

I guess we really need Scottie Pippen, now!!!!

Dayam!! This has got to hurt! He's been a part of the lakers for a while now, and this injury seems sort of career ending. I wish him all the best!! Get well soon, Foxy!! :jam2:

The only positive thing that I can think of is that with Fox's injury, Devean George can quickly accelerate his game. We have already seen flashes of his great play. Hopefully, when Fox's comes back we have two good small forwards who has NBA championship starter experience.

........and if we can add Scottie into the mix, we just added another hall of famer in our roster.

Yes George gets experience, plus, look how much more athletic this team gets when you get Foxy out of there. Thats the plus...

Looks like we are in the off-season market for a SF and Scottie Pippen would be the ideal choice as a vet that could come in and give us what Rick gave us and then some. We need to sign someone to fill Fox's temporary loss and Scottie is only one option, we could also go young or go for the best and most affordable player at the position. The thing that excites me is seeing Devean develop as a starter! :man1:
