Gary Payton interview

"Sitting in the house, I'm loadin' up the pump. I'm loadin' up the Uzi. I got a couple M-16s, a couple 9s. I got a couple joints with some silencers on them. I'm just loading clips, a couple grenades. I got a missile launcher with a couple of missiles. I'm ready for war." - Kevin Garnett

GP was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night with Magic and Magic and GP made it seem that GP was going to play the rest of his days in Purple and Gold....they implied that they wanted multiple championships and that GP could retire a Laker....it was great to watch...and Magic said that next summer's Mid-Summer Magic basketball tournament will be Gary's to host....he eloquently said from yesteryears point guard to today's point guard...i think GP won't walk away from us at the end of this year and that is just great news.

Yeah, I agree...Malone will probably play his two years out here and then either retire or go to the Jazz for one final payday...and when I mean payday i mean 5 million MLE...but I really can see Malone retiring a Laker...he's been an A+ in everything that he has said and done ever since we signed him and I have no doubt that he will bring it on the court...after his second season, he'll retire a Laker and have the scoring title to go along with two championships...he clearly deserves that for his play and conditioning over the years and what a way to go out on top
