God I hate ESPN: Cowherd - Kobe PEDs too much!

Of course the headline on the NBA page on ESPN is that, and I'm paraphrasing, "Kobe's supporting cast propels him past the Cavs". Sheez.... Typical ESPN.

And dumbass Adande, when comparing Kobe and Lebron, mentions how Kobe went 3-12 in the 4th against Orlando (justifying why he can't put Kobe as better than Lebron) and conveniently forgets the 4 previous games where Kobe hit huge clutch shots down the stretch.

No matter what Kobe does, they will find a way to emphasize Lebron. Just like TNT tonight where every aside was about James this and James that. James is great. He is amazing, but the media is constantly massaging his nuts and figuring a way to de-emphasize Kobe.

Example... everytime on TNT tonight where they mentioned Lebron's shooting tonight... everytime they emphasized that Kobe got a lot of help. Last year when Lebron shut down Kobe at the end of the game (when they were box and oneing Kobe) it was "Lebron shuts down Kobe" everywhere. If Lebron had dislocated his finger and the Cavs had won, it would have been "Lebron fights through dislocated finger to beat Kobe and the Lakers".

The bias is so damn terrible. I'm sick of it.

I'm pissed Kobe got hurt, because I had this feeling that Kobe was getting ready to open up a can of whup azz tonight. He still made a couple of amazing shots in the fourth though.

But he arguably made an even bigger statement with the game he had playing in obvious pain throw the entire game. LeBron, quite simply would not have the bowel stamina to handle it.

I liked how he faked a bunch of aches and pains for the camera though....he also did a good job of hiding just how frustrated he was with how the Lakers defended him. I think Rambis figured out a couple of tendencies with him and it finally led to a smart defensive game plan against him.

Even though the title of the article is complete garbage, the actual article itself doesn't emphasize the teammates too much. It was almost like they titled it that way on purpose......

^ That's because the articles are written by the Associated Press, who are (supposed to be) unbiased.

ESPN's staff is responsible for the article titles on their website.

Come on Weezy... I said I was paraphrasing. However the words "supporting cast" imply they are supporting someone. Kobe is implied in that headline. You can do better than that Weezy.

I also hate that during the highlights they show Lebron's block on Sasha but they don't show Sasha coming back and nailing a 3 right after that.

I noticed that too. If the Cavs would have won the headline would have read "LeBron outduels Kobe". Or something to that effect.

Headline should read "Kobe overcomes freakish fingury injury, Lakers top Cavs"
