Griffin and Paul have little real class but I am a little surprised at Hill's comments. I'd have to hear the context and inflection in his voice to make sure he wasn't being flippant more than anything else......

The Clippers are very, very annoying for a team that has never won anything. Can't wait till we smack them right in the mouth.

Nash is a big boy, and picked the best situation for him and his family, and i'm assuming Grant did the same by signing with the Clippers. I didn't know Nash had to run everything by Dukie boy Hill to make sure what teams were appropriate, or not.

Personally I don't have a problem with what Hill said. I get where he's coming from - the Suns thought they were our rivals even though there really wasn't much there from our perspective. Nash led the charge and even mentioned before the trade that he couldn't envision himself in a Laker uniform. But things change, right?

Hill should've jumped on board when Nash tried to get him over here. His mistake that he chose the worse franchise, the also-ran of the city. I'll never understand why some players and people think that Sterling has changed. He's still the same old cheapskate slumlord and alleged racist that he's always been.

As far as Hill voicing his opinion, that's fine. I think he's earned the right after his long career to be able to speak his mind. Of course if he had a championship ring he might have a little more authority in that voice. And he just had his opportunity but he ditched it. I'm sure we would have picked him up for vets minimum if he would have "lowered" himself enough to be here with Nash the traitor.

That's not really his fault that injuries robbed him of a HOF career. I don't think anyone ever thought he'd be as good as Kobe who in his prime is arguably the greatest ever.

Grant Hill was the next MJ before Kobe was annointed that title, so folks did think he would be that good.

Kobe has talked so much trash in front of Hill's face, and then stuffing it on his face...I'm not surprised that Hill is bitter that his meal ticket just joined his enemy. Hill is a competitor, so of course, he's not going to like Kobe.

people forget how great hill was in the 90's. they were calling him the next jordan and his play definitely had him on that road. it's really sad how badly injuries ruined his career

Yup, Grant was primed for a stellar career, but he was robbed of his prime due to injuries. He doesn't strike me as petty, so I doubt he's a Laker hater or a Kobe hater. If anything, he seems to be a nice guy with high integrity, so maybe he didn't choose the Lakers because he doesn't believe in ring chasing. He probably chose the Clippers because he wanted to go to a good team with a great point guard, and be in a position to contribute significantly at the sg/sf position.

Grant seems too nice for snide remarks. In his book, he doesn't believe in playing for the opposition. I don't see anything wrong with that point of view, although we could have used him.

from wut i remember about grant hill back in the 90's... he was very good... going to be very good... but it seemed like every year in the playoffs... his team gets eliminated in the first round by the pistons

he was only good when he was with the Pistons, he never got to play much in any of the playoff games during his enture with Orl (not at all I dont think, he was injured throughout most of his 1st 3 or so seasons)

If I recall correctly, Hill talked about staying in Detroit and making it work then bolting for Orlando when the opportunity presented itself. His then Piston teammate Jerry Stackhouse [a Tar Heel no less] took him to task in the press insinuating that he is a phony.

hill probably has a thing against kobe. remember when hill was suppose to be the next jordan? the "next" ended up being kobe.

He had his chance to be a Laker as an FO, he shunned Pjax and chose the Sun instead.
