Grant

Horace, is a good pickup. Look at him as a teacher, who will school the 2
young PF's Cook and Sampson on the art of playing the triangle, and who
can give Malone a few minutes of rest each quarter.

I dont feel that Peeler would really add anything to our team and am getting sick of the talk of him, if anything try to add Barry.

Does Buss get a cap tax credit for employing senior citzens?

Horace is a good pick though still would have been better to pick someone a bit younger and athletic. Malone and Horace will be great teachers for Cook and Walton ... they may even get Slava going.

I really would like to see Mitch to start looking for someone who is "middle aged" in basketball terms ... not a "young kid" like Jamal Sampson nor a "senior citzen" like Horace Grant.

Laker trainer's will be busy ...

Still a good pickup, but how about picking up one more guy who is older than 21 yet younger than 35 and who can run down the court before the 24 second clock gets to zero. :freak2:

It is a good move if they signed him for the Veterans minimum and we don't carry any dead weight on the roster.....we should only have contributors on the roster not any more Samake Walker's.

why is it that you guys are convinced Peeler can plkay defense?

he has ONE good defensive series and it was against us... didnt anyone else pay attention when the world was SUPRISED he played D??

Horace Grant has always had good D, and tho he's old he can still hit the open shot

whatre you talking about?

damnit imm post your take of the day for you

here ya go folks, its fricken hilarious

Well, the Lakers added a FA today. Many are complaining that we aren't getting younger, but I object. When Mailman Malone, at the ripe ol' age of 40, needs a breather, P.J. will turn and call young 38 yr. old Ho' Grant. The youth movement has arrived!

PROPS TO THE ONE WHO BROKE THE STORY ON CLUBLAKERS.COM!!

Postby shoutout2u on Tue Jul 29, 2003 5:23 pm

i was on this site yesterday pm when some dude posted "HORACE GRANT BACK WITH LAKERS?"(2nd from top on RUMORS FORUM). he noticed that grant was shown on the lakers roster at nba.com & assumed it was cause we had signed him! TURNS OUT HE WAS RIGHT & ESPN DIDNT BREAK THE STORY TIL OVER AN HOUR LATER. it's great to have fans on this site who can beat espn, 1150AM, etc. to the story!! based on his number of posts, this guy is a rookie, but he should be PROMOTED TO OFFICIAL INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER FOR CLUBLAKERS.COM!!
kobe is still tha man!
