I should get an assist for that. It's an intentional pass to oneself, so it's an assist. That way people can't say all I do is shoot.

So MB gets a win and he still sucks??

Look, I'm not sold on MB, however, his criticism of the team on air against the Clippers was spot on. No one was moving, no one was moving the ball or running any sets and neither of his bigs were crashing the offensive boards. He can't be blamed for a lack of effort on the court. His case was the team wasn't playing as he had asked them too, and he cited examples (as above), which i could see myself....

Hero: wait for it... Blake. The guy stepped in for the irreplaceable Steve Nash and gave us 6 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 STEALS. He gets a solid A from me tonight. If he had taken one or two more open shots, he gets an A+.

Zero: Brown. C'mon idiot, you don't need to bring back the starters you need to COACH THE BENCH. Ugh...

Blake was very close for me. He had a GREAT statline, and did step up. But he NEEDS to step up.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. WTF was he bringing the starters back for? We were up 24 with like 8-9 mins left in the 4th.

Why doesn't he use this time to tinker and find a formula that might work? You know, like put Meeks in there, try some Duhon if Morris is not getting it done. Play Jamison at 4. I mean, I can coach this team and put the starters back in.

That would have been a perfect time to try different bench lineups and see what works. There was no way we were losing that game anyway.

I second this post.....

I especially agree with the starters having to be brought in late in a complete blow out..... Really Brown? you panicked while still up 20+ in the fourth and gave up the opportunity to give your aging starters some rest

Great game by Blake considering what many have become to expect from him. He can still be a contributor in this rotation if used correctly...... big IF with coach however......
