This might be the toughest Hero and Zero selections of the year for this game against Miami.

H: I'm going with D12. We had a tough time getting him the ball, he didn't shoot from the line well, but when we did get the ball he scored efficiently, didn't turn the ball over and his defense was solid for us for the most part. The dunks they got were almost all in transition thanks to turnovers but I feel he was the lone piece that gave us a chance to take this win.

Z: It's got to be Kobe. Nash is a very close second. Ball movement from Kobe was generally poor. I mean, a 1:6 AST:TO ratio is absolutely awful from a guard. That is almost inexcusable from any 1 or 2 let alone an all-star/superstar. He shot poorly, turned the ball over, can't blame him for defense he seemed like he was trying and not ball watching but still, didn't get the job done.

He had some nice moments in the 4th, but he forced a ton of shots on a night he wasn't really feeling it outside of a 4 shot span.

The game gave me SOME hope though. We didn't play well and we were still in it. We were right there. Maybe, just maybe, we have turned the corner. Only time will tell.

Hey!.... I had to list a "Hero".... Metta was the only player that put out effort all night... the results may not have been stellar but he left it out there. Howard was probably close but it's hard to put him as the "Hero" when he missed a clutch free throw by 2 feet.....

As for LeBron abusing Metta.... who doesn't LeBron abuse these days? The guy is in his prime and now has some confidence to close games. The only way to stop him is prevent him from having the ball.

Hero: Well... I would go with Dwight but those missed free throws in the clutch, ouch.
Zero: Nash, he was a turnover machine yesterday. Kobe was terrible in that regard as well.

Clark played great but the whole team deserves the zero today.

Zero: Dwight - stop getting ejected. That's twice this season, both times we got killed after. I don't care how it happened, I don't even care if the ref was quick with the whistle and it was a horrible call, knock off the bullcrap that's getting you ejected. Once you have one tech, act like a saint out there.

Knows what he's talking about. If I had to pick a hero, it would be Clark, but... I won't. He doesn't deserve to be a zero, but... no heroes today.

you made a hero and zero based off of a box score. WOW.... Um, Pau was just as big of a culprit as Kobe. Thanks your post makes me laugh which I needed after this horrible loss.

Zero: Kobe. I almost gave it to Dwight, but, that tech was unwarranted.

I didn't give Kobe a pass at all. His shots were short and he wasn't able to get going at all till a short spurt in the 4th. If you looked at my response to the thread you would see the only person worthy of a little praise was Clark.

Cmon guys. Hiding your 'Zero' selection behind "everyone" is only hurting Earl Clark because your vote isn't going to count. There are only two legit zeros for the Raptors game. Kobe and Dwight. PIck one and make your voice be heard.

I thought your vote doesn't count unless you actually make a player selection for both a hero and a zero. I just don't want Earl Clark to lose out because people don't want to pick Kobe or Dwight, that's all. (I am guessing that might be the reason he wanted people to pick an actual player for both hero and zero for the vote to count to make people have to actually choose).

Earl's not going to get a trophy if he wins this, not like it really matters if he doesn't, yet again small things made into a bug deal for the sake of arguing.

Well, I thought the spirit of this thread was to pick a player that was the hero and a player that was the zero.

Does it really make much sense though for people to come in here and pick their Dad as Hero and their ex-gf as the zero every game? I mean, I suppose as you said it's not like it really matters but, the whole point is to pick someone and for both measures. Plus, it's not like Kobe is going to lose out on any trophies for being picked as zero once in a blue moon.

Seems like people only come in here to cast a hero vote for Kobe and then cop out when he has a poor effort. Oh well, like you said, no bug deal. Not trying to be a pest.
