^yea Pierce was getting a lot of picks to free him up and was just on fire. In the 2nd half we started switching on those double screens which made it harder for Paul to get clean looks. Ron's D stepped up big in the 2nd half
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

True this. There was one play where Clark was switched off on him and I was muttering that he should not give Pierce too much room...to get up on him. Clark didn't and ended up with a clean block.
Nor can the Lakers get blamed for always making the right decisions over decades. At some point its not just luck or "gamble", its superior management and superior ownership.

(Blake was 0-3 but Nash was 2-11 and missed a late free throw. He did hit a late shot though but for my starter he has to get the zero from me.)

Hero - Kobe - clutch, 38 points, 12 boards, 7 assists, huge game. (Nash honorable mention)

Zero - MWP - I don't think he had THAT bad a game, especially considering the tough defensive assignments he had and he played hard all game, but just statistically he was the worst of anyone.
